Does FASI work on toluene or xylene?

HI my nexians,i had very good results using toluene/FASA to obtain fumarates, but i cant get a suitable dessicant for acetone (drierite/boric oxide/molecular sieve), however searching in the site has not yielded me a single clue about using FASI with xylene or toluene... I have got some very nice spice with Fasa toluene, dried with epsom, already bioassayed it and was amazingly intense but im kinda scared to partake on the medicine again with what i have read....

since i have researched that drying acetone with MgSO4 is not desirable because of the formation of aldol condensation byproducts i cannot use fasa until i get a compatible dessicant like drierite... IPA on the other hand is compatible with MgSO4 and i have enough of both

so i want to kindly ask if anyone had tried this combination with good results??? im really using toluene, but it behaves just like xylene so they are exchangeable... and if fasi works with xylene im guessing it will work on toluene too....

If it works with acetone its more than likely to work with IPA in toluene.

Im sorry... didnt know it was that bad... im back to report... I did the fasi salting on the toluene and it works much better than fasa.... well i liked the results more.... and it precipitates completely in just a few hours.... changed the liquid to another vessel and no more precipitation appears... also no more clouding if i add more fasi
