It is well-known that the DMT experience is seemingly beyond words, too full and complex and utterly different to convey in a reasonable manner with words. Further hindering our ability to describe the experience is the memory-loss of the experience.

For these reasons (and more) I believe describing comes second to understanding the experience.
By understanding I don't mean it in the sense of understanding deep personal/alien/god meanings hidden within such as when one is watching a film, but understanding the realm of Hyperspace. One step in this direction is understanding the relationships Hyperspace has and also how it interacts within those relationships.

Getting to the point:
So essentially the question becomes... what do you know about hyperspace? (Don't say nothing!)
-What relationships have you come to expect?
Certainly the experience is quite different each time but I have come to notice some common aspects and am wondering if anyone else has as well.

Some relationships... please comment on any of the following stimuli and what, if any, effects you noticed they had on your Hyperspace experience.

Setting and Hyperspace
Hyperspace & Visual Stimulation
- Light / Dark Environment
- Location of light source and Hyperspace visuals in that location
- Pressure on eyes and Hyperspace visuals in that location (sleep masks, etc)
- No Visual stimulation

Hyperspace & Audio Stimulation
- Effect of music (variable genres)
- Television/Movie Audio (News, Comedy, Commercial/Ad, etc)
- Conversation
- White noise
- Nature/Outdoors
- No Audio stimulation

Hyperspace & Touch Stimulation
- Body Location (Seat, ground, etc)
- Body Position (Sitting, lying down, etc)
- Nude vs Clothes
- Environment Temperature
- Nature/Outdoors (Wind, plants, dirt)
- No Touch stimulation

Hyperspace & Taste Stimulation
- Flavors effect on hyperspace (DMT/Changa/Leaf/Aya flavor, gum, toothpaste, still spicy from dinner, etc)
- Good flavor vs Bad flavor
- No Taste Stimulation

Hyperspace & Smell Stimulation
- Smells effect on hyperspace (Food, fire, fresh air, etc)
- No Smell Stimulation

Moving beyond external stimulation...

Set and Hyperpsace
Hyperspace & Personal/Internal Stimulation
- State of Mind
- Emotions on-hand
- Time since mental rest
- Time since mental activity
- State of Body
- Time since sleep/rest
- Time since physical activity
- Patient or Rushed

I think this is probably more than enough for now. I'll save relationships between Hyperspace objects, geometries, entities for another thread, but by all means if you know something please share it. If anybody has posted some DMT experiences and knows some of this info may be available, links are appreciated! Thanks for reading.

To begin on the relationships I have noticed.

Setting and Hyperspace
Hyperspace & Visual Stimulation
- Light / Dark Environment
I can't say this one 100% certain, but I have seen many more entities in light environments.
In a Dark Environment my visuals are much more vibrant, pulsating with color.

Hyperspace & Audio Stimulation
- Effect of music (variable genres)
My visuals in hyperspace will flow with the music while it plays at some very strange pace of time.

- Television/Movie Audio (News, Comedy, Commercial/Ad, etc)
An entity appeared and came me an incredible kiss when I heard the news announce the 7 billionth baby was born.
A commercial caused my visuals to alter dramatically and my hyperspace surroundings began to transform themselves.

- Conversation
Just makes me lose my focus from the trip.

- Nature/Outdoors
Only noticable relationship is the carrier wave can be nature-made. The wind built up and shook the leaves on the trees, just as the carrier wave usually rings, to a maximum point before full breakthrough.

Set and Hyperpsace
Hyperspace & Personal/Internal Stimulation
- Time since mental activity
- Time since physical activity
- Patient or Rushed
When my mind/body are not rested to a point of comfortable patience, even if I still believe myself ready, I find myself rejected from hyperspace or in for one 'hell' of a ride.

When I break through, there is ZERO external stimulation.

Nothing at all. This place I am typing from is gone. So is this body and all of the experiences I have had. It all comes back slowly upon re-entry to this place/body, at that point I usually find myself feeling very grateful and at peace.

Before and right after I get back blastoff I am usually:

comfortably clothed
Inside
dim lighting
person in house but not with me, it is a solo journey, I do not feel the need to have a sitter at all, I can not share this with them.
No music
No TV (except once)
couch, I have a comfy ass couch, not that I will fell it until I get back. breathe, focus, be ready, one big hit, put everything safely down, lay down, hold it, glass chrysanthemum, hyperspace.

I'm not seeing with eyes while I am there although the first time I went something messed with my visual field, still not sure what that was.

So I guess coming back to your question about external stimuli driving the voyage, my answer is, What external stimuli? :) Before and after there are very important things I do, but during, there is nothing.

Thanks for the response. I can certainly relate to that experience of zero external stimulation and your method it is my preferred method of dosing.

On most of my large breakthroughs I have a period after the most intense visions fade and I am semi-aware of my surroundings but still fully immersed in hyperspace. I am interested to see if those stimuli could have had an effect on my trip.

Have you noticed any differences when dosing during day/night or light/dark?

Also, any personal/internal stimulation you noticed having an effect on your trip?
