Hey!
Over the years I´ve been posting results in threads such as these:
Cactus Analysis thread
Acacia Analysis thread
Mimosa analysis thread
Phalaris analysis thread
Caapi analysis thread (I got a bunch more results on this hopefully to post in the next couple of weeks or so)
If you can do extracts on local plants sustainably or grow them and extract, post here and we´ll get it tested.

I'm planning a comparison of alkaloid content of degrafted Lophophora on own roots for 2 years vs specimens still grafted onto E. pachanoi. I'm aiming to have 20-40 crowns total. For statistical rigor I want to analyze each crown individually (all stock comes from the same mother Peyote plant). Is the testing lab willing to carry out 20-40 individual analysis runs? I know this isn't cheap, but pooling the extracts from each growing method will give less rigorous results. I haven't been able to find any hard results online about this, but I started grafting and re-grafting 7 years ago after having a chat with The Travellor at EGA in preparation for this, amd now feel that I have enough crowns to start the degrafting process once things warm up a bit more around here. It'd be great to get some hard data on this! It'll be a couple of years until I harvest the material.

Yes, I do recall this, though the exact details are a bit harder for me to recall.
Knowing me, I guess that chat would have included the positive reinforcement from my side, to produce that much needed comparison data on this topic.

Sad news.. Unfortunately I am not working at the lab anymore so I cannot perform analysis anymore.
Maybe if one day some angel investor wants to purchase an analytical instrument for us, I could host it and test stuff for everyone, but right now that is not a reality...
Nevertheless I can always help you all learning about TLC and how to test extracts at home. Feel free to ask questions!

That's not the news I was hoping to read today...I'm sorry to hear you've parted ways with the lab, I hope you at least got decent conditions around it. Got any plans for the future?

As for plans for the future, I'm trying to find opportunities, but haven't found anything so far.. In the meantime will start teaching jiu jitsu locally to get a little bit of income, and see if this can grow and/or if I find something else... Wish me luck

Fully understood if your main focus lies elsewhere, ofc. Setting up a business and dealing with courts make for a plateful in themselves.
