Getting the DMT from 300g of good MHRB with not so much pulling and waiting

Hi guys, first post here. I have been using stb on 100g at a time and getting about 1.2g each time, even from 2 different bark suppliers. My second to last extraction was 5 years ago on 100g and that 1.2g I got from that lasted a very long time, I just did not bother extracting or smoking any for a while when I ran out.

Last week I did a stb with 100g and got 1.3g in the end. I got 500g more bark and now I'm doing another 100g the same way so expect the same.

I have 400g powdered bark now and want to get the most out of it. 6-7g would even last me a loooong time, but might as well get what I can lol.

I know it's still a pretty good return what I have had in the past, but I know there's more DMT in there as others buying from the same place are getting higher returns. And my tek or method isn't the best.

I put 50g of bark each in two separate jars (I put water in first (750ml) then added the lye until I get about 13/14 ph. Then add bark powder. And use 50ml naptha each jar each pull.
I end up evaporating a lot of naptha due to it never getting saturated enough, so I am doing a lot of pulls then evaporating before freezing so I'm not very efficient on naptha, and buying swan lighter fluid from home bargains too often might raise eyebrows lol. It's only 89p a 100ml tin, whereas it's like nearly £4 elsewhere and it's clean, doesn't leave anything behind after evaporating, so ends up £8.90 for a litre which is quite good. It's light ether btw if that matters, heavy naptha is supposed to be less desired so I heard/read.

When doing a pull I heat bath the jars first, I don't heat the naptha. I might try acid to base on 100g of bark and see what happens. I'm yet to get more than 300g a pull. I combine the naptha from both jars.

I've heard Cybs 'MAX ION' tek be referenced as a metric to compare other teks yields to. If the other teks compare in yield to that, then your doing good.

You may also look at doing a few pulls with a less selective solvant after the swan lighter fluid like d-Limonene or Xylene. Some people swear by the full spectrum stuff where others say it ruins their experiences. Not sure where you'd fall in the polarized spectrum.

Research backsalting to reduce waiting and avoid having to evaporate down unsaturated pulls. I like using benzoic acid saturated naphtha. Benzoic acid dissolves in naphtha, and when that solution comes in contact with naphtha holding DMT, the benzoic acid binds with the DMT, creating non-soluble DMT-Benzoate salt. It instantly precipitates the DMT out of naphtha, which falls to the bottom. Then you can pull that naphtha off to do another pull with.

After you do all your pulls you can dry out the DMT-benzoate salt, re-dissolve it in water, re-base, and pull a super saturated solution for a good freebase precipitation. The benzoate can also be vaped as-is (only vaped, combustion can decompose the benzoic acid portion to carcinogenic benzene).

You could backsalt with other acids too, like vinegar. Mixing the DMT naphtha pulls with a jar of vinegar would move the DMT to the vinegar, emptying the naphtha for another pull immediately. Then at the end, add base to the vinegar to squeeze the DMT back out for the final combined pull.

Thanks mate, I'll have a look at those later when I have the time. I'm getting a good amount of DMT for what I'm doing but maybe more can be had (I think it can). And get it quicker too (my main aim to be honest, a bigger yield is a bonus).

I've thought about not doing the first pull until a few days after mixing the base solution and bark to see if I get a good pull then. I'm getting the goods but only a bit at a time. Maybe waiting longer between pulls is what I need to do so I do less overall pulls and get bigger ones. Doing so many pulls and freezing etc is starting to get in the way of other things lol.

I seem to get nice clean DMT as well, it only goes a bit yellow on the last few pulls and I start getting less and less until I throw the base solution and bark away. The yellow stuff smells more like the indole smell I've noticed. I tend to smoke it first and not store it, usually the same night or the night after I've scraped it up, so it doesn't mix with the white DMT. Usually 2 good breakthrough doses of yellow. It's different and in some ways prefer it to the white. The stronger indole smell indicates there really could be more in it, it's NMT according to some people. Seems to be a bit of a debate between yellow and white DMT.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong in the pull process. I don't shake I roll it round slowly and then leave it upside down about 5-10 minutes then repeat about 4 or 5 times. I've not had any emulsify yet.

I've got some evaporating down now. 100ml naptha should be ready shortly down to about 60ml then in the freezer. The indole smell is dominating the naptha, I'm reusing old naptha from last pull. Can't even smell the naptha now so I take it as a good sign there's a lot of goods in it. From this current 100g mhrb I've got 0.7g up to now. It was started 4 days ago. This pull seems promising might be biggest yet (hopefully). I think I will wait 2 days and pull again. It might be done by then we'll see.

I still have 1g from the last 100g extraction, I smoked it twice after extracting it and gave a bit away for 4 trips, so I smoked 100mg and gave away 200mg. Once I've got the stuff out the bark I have I shouldn't need to do this for a very long time.
