Goo drying questions

How would i know if the goo would be ready? i have seen goo that is still goo after a week of drying and fan running over?

it could either be plant fats or traces of solvent. Goo works fine imo. If you dont want goo try a recrystalization

Receystalized 2-3 times then I just gave up and let it dry for a while, my previous attempt I let sit for a week and a half and it never became waxy, when I hold a flame to it it just smells bad but does not catch fire, would it be safe to assume it’s ready?

We've all seen it, a clear (sometimes yellowish/orange) residue that doesn't resolve. It's frustrating. Sometimes it is due to impurities, but often it's simply a supersaturated solution of unresolved polymorphs. I've recently applied a couple effective strategies to resolve it.
