Grades of solvent being used.

I've come across three different grades of benzin.
1 waschbenzin found in the hardware store.
2 wundbenzin found in the pharmacy. Medical grade.
3 99.9% benzin technical analytical grade . Online from chemical supplier.

For our hobby, which is the best one to use? They go up in price from 1 -3 and the online purchase can't be bought with cash. So there is an audit trail showing purchases.

Could I use 1 for the initial pulls and then the more purer ones for cleaning the crystals after wards.

Does it even matter since the solvent is going to be all evaporated off from the final product?

Oh and for the acid there is the normal grade and then there is the food grade. The latter being subject to stricter controls in production.

Probably not, most hardware store wasbenzin is clean enough, do an evaporation test on a very clean glass surface to see if any residue is present after evaporation just to be sure.

Just use white vinegar from the supermarket as your acid

I did a evap test ona Petri dish and there was no residue that I could see. That's with the washbenzin.

I've seen a Tek that suggests using phosphoric acid instead of acetic acid as the former forms a stronger bong with the active ingredients. I'll give it a go.

You don’t need to use a “strong” acid, as there is no mechanism for it to outperform vinegar in any way. You use a bit of acid to make the dmt dissolve in the polar face, so adding any more acid then a splash of vinegar is pointless.
