Joe Rogan - If by chance you visit this site (which I'm guessing you probably do), I'd like to ask that you shut the hell up with your public rantings and endorsement of the use of DMT. All that publicity is doing is bringing more attention, and creating more miss conception about the ancient and sacred chemical. Seriously man, posting youtube videos that make false statements about, and glorify the use of DMT as a party drug that everyone should try? All you are doing is watering down the spiritual value of this chemical, and bringing more media (and Federal) attention to it.

If you truly appreciate The Spice (and i assume you do since you got a DMT inspired sleeve tattoo) then why wouldn't you keep your mouth shut and keep things under the radar? I just don't get it. Is this all just some fucked up publicity stunt for you? That's all I can assume because there is no other reason to bring this molecule to the forefront of the media / general public's attention.

So, I kindly ask. Shut the fuck up already! You're doing no good.

amen

I got a lot of shit from folks on youtube, when I called his regurgitations from the late TM's 'alien dreamtime' speech from '93.
the guy's as much a rip-off for material as ned, the guy he called out; and joe obviously doesn't know how to distinguish between anecdotal-type theory with widely accepted scientific theory supported by evidence.

people were saying they'd believe joe over me, even though I cited articles and dropped the biochem on them.

I'm gonna laugh one day when a highly respected member of this site like 69ron or the traveler is revealed to be joe rogan. Not making accusations, but I will piss my pants and giggle like a school girl.

Yeah, that would be funny, ironic, and highly disappointing. My guess is that Joe does have an alias on this site. Maybe it's even me... trying to bring more publicity to myself... Maybe?

Hey DEA I'm Joe Rogan and I'm cooking up a batch of DMT in my kitchen right now!!

I think what we can learn from this is that all of us deep down have a little bit of joe rogan in us, and even though we would hate to admit it we admire his true passion, understanding and wisdom.

I don't know...sometimes I think we should all get out there and yell it out to the entire world and not keep it hidden and a secret. Force the government to take notice and lift the unjust ban on it.

Look at what the Native American Church accomplished by NOT KEEPING QUITE and fighting the powers that be to get peyote made legal for their church.

IF YOU WANT THINGS TO CHANGED FOR THE BETTER YOU CANNOT SIT IDLE AND KEEP QUITE.

I am an American and I have some Native American blood and yet I am banned from using peyote, mushrooms, ayahuasca, etc. This is not fair. When I’m down in Mexico or elsewhere south of the border, I can legally take part in Native American religious rituals. Why am I banned from doing so in the USA? Who gives the government the right to take away part of my Native American heritage? Where is the justice?

I DO NOT DRINK. I DO NOT SMOKE. I am an upstanding member of our society and I quite honestly DEMAND THE GOVERNMENT BEGIN TO ACT FAIRLY TO ALL AMERICAN CITIZENS.

The only intoxicants I will allow in my body are those that have religious significance.

ITS HIGH TIME THE GOVERNMENT START TREATING ALL OF ITS PEOPLE FAIRLY.

I cannot drink alcohol. It causes me severe muscle twitching and is very unpleasant for me. So am I supposed to just simply not ever get intoxicated while the people in charge have their martinis? WHERE IS THE JUSTICE IN THAT?

Peyote has been used for hundreds of years by some of my ancestors. What gives the USA the right to prevent such a beautiful God loving creation as peyote from being eating? Peyote was made BY GOD. It is not a drug. It’s a plant. And yet the USA sees it fit to outlaw a creation of GOD!

Something has got to change. I want to be able to use peyote legally. I don’t want any government interference with my religious right to use peyote, ayahuasca, mushrooms, or any of the other plants used for religious purposes for hundreds of years prior to the USA even existing.

Countless Native American societies used these sacraments since ancient history and still do to this day, many of them do so secretly.

I want MY RIGHTS. I don’t want to keep quite about it.

I hope people are reading this and see the light. We cannot fade away into the darkness and be forgotten. WE ARE THE FUTURE. The older people in control who have made these unjust laws will pass and a new dawn will arrive. One where all of God’s people can live in harmony with complete religious freedom. I hope I live to see that day.

One of the thing that I hate most is that race is used to determine what one can believe in. How is it so, that because someone is a native american, it alright that they use entheogens in a spiritual manner. But since someone else is white, black, chinese or whatever, they cannot use entheogens in a spiritual manner. I do not think this is a fairly basic and straight forward violation of religious freedom rights.

Because americans as a whole feel bad about the massacre of the native american peoples in these times. Oddly enough they feel worse about that than the enslavement of the blacks. You see the hillbilly bible beating people of the central US actually have some decendants that are native american. It was not uncommon at all for frontiersmen of the early part of our nation to interbreed with the native americans. There are even stories of white women leaving their husbands and joining tribes that had previously captured them because they were treated with much more respect there than with their own people.

In the early times of the united states there were no roads and native americans were all over the nation. If you lived away from the shoreline you could spend your entire lifetime in your small town and the only people you had contact with was the natives. In tennesee the irish became the mountain folk because they were prroly treated in the eastern cities. They befriended the cherokee and many of the 'appalachian' traditions were a mix of native american tradition and irish traditions. I came from these people. My grandparents were known to utilize 'appalachian folk magic' which was nothing ore than cherokee shamanism. The native american ways arent disrespected even tho to christian moral values it's considered paganism.

Now I am going to say something that might get allot of heat. When small town white people turn on their TV they are innundated with rap music, gangster violence and the ghetto. This causes them to associate black people with crime and violence. Now I know many very noble blacks. But when your walking down the street and see a car load of blacks in a 'pimped out' car blaring rap music singing about robbing, raping, selling drugs, and murdering it effects you. You put the 2 together the media and the lifestyle. Keep in mind most people spend their entire lives in a small town working the same job for 30+ years and to be honest they arent all that bright. It's not difficult to convince them that blacks are all raping murderers. But when was the last time you seen a native american shown in a bad light? The pictures on the tv show a noble chieftan crying about the litter and pollution we cast. They are lighted as a kind harmonious people who cared for the land.

In short we are brainwashed to believe blacks are bad and native americans are good. In truth race has never determined what kind of person a man is but when people have limited info they must make assumptions based upon what they have. Just as you see CNN showing arabs suicide bombing innocent people and now people are terrorfied of arabs. I worked with many arabs in the tech industry when I lived in california. They are very very decent people whos religion and culture ingrains a deep sense of moral values.

I dont think that DMT should be public. LSD is ublic and the feds heavily monitor it. If DMT was to become widespread the federal government would start cracking down on the suppliers of the regents and these forums would be a dangerous place to spend time to say the least. We are under the radar so to speak. DMT isnt popular enough to become a target for the feds. You get pulled over with it most cops dont even know what it is.

It's a mess is what it is.

I am legally of European decent, even though I am part Native American, so I cannot legally partake in any peyote ceremonies where I am right now. That is not at all fair.

Peyote should be legal for all American Citizens. It was 100% legal for many years, as were all of the other entheogens.

All entheogens should be legal for all citizens, not just Native Americans who attend the NAS, or other such groups.

We need to all fight for our God given rights.

Surely you say this in jest smokeydaze. Please tell me that the sarcasm I read into this statement is accurate... I'm guessing it is based on your "or not" comment at the end.

I know the law is enforced the way it is because we feel bad for what we did to the native americans. But the fact remains that entheogens with a long history of human consumption should be legal, for everyone.

Get the president interested in DMT. Or if DMT is too close to home, talk about peyote. If one of you out there knows him personally (I don’t) then please talk about it to him. Tell him what it actually does. I'll bet he'll be fascinated by the subject. He's a very intelligent person. I'm sure he would look at the subject with an open mind.

The only way to get the laws changed is to show the people in charge what these things really do and how safe they actually are. If I knew the president personally, I would talk to him myself. I have not met a single intelligent person who was not fascinated with the subject.

One of the benefits of the current economic crisis is that the US now realizes it cannot afford to fight the drug war. There are many forums that are wide open which tell you how and where to buy presciption drugs from overseas illegally. There is a ground swell of people who want to legalize marajuana. Taxes from it could bring in billions and even billions more a year would be saved from jailing and prosecuting people for simple possession.

I dont think drugs should be legalized completely. The reason china was so far behind the US in technology was because during the industrial age china was under a opium epedemic which devistated the population. People sat around smoking opium refused to work and crime was rampant. But as the economic crisses worsens the US will have less and less resources to commit to minor infraction like pot and LSD and they will have to focus on the more serious issues. Our jails are 3 times overcrowded now. I read a article on CNN not 4 days ago saying in 2007 one in 37 americans were in prison. That's a hell of a lot. I remeber a similar article that said that one in 9 people in the US would spend at least 1 year in jail in their lifetimes. Now consider the amount of money that costs.

Vovin, I agree. The dangerously damaging drugs should not be easy to get.

Opium and heroin abuse can be very problematic and any government that makes those easily available to the people is really asking for trouble. The addictive potential is huge. However, some people can use opium and heroin in a non abusive fashion and never become hooked. I’ve talked with several people who have used heroin occasionally and never got hooked. But the majority does get seriously hooked and it would be irresponsible for a government to allow its citizens to become slaves to heroin addiction.

I believe the history of opium abuse in China was one reason LSD and the others were made illegal. The subcultures that flocked to using LSD in the 60’s were seen in a bad light by the government. They didn’t want a nation of hippies going to rock concerts and having fun all day. I’m sure they saw the similarities to opium abuse in China and wanted to put a stop to it before it got out of hand. In reality hippies mostly smoked pot all day and only used LSD occasionally but somehow became known for using LSD. Most of the people using LSD while it was legal in the 60’s were college students. But still, hippies remain known as LSD users, when in fact most of them were heavy pot smokers. Pot tends to make people lazy and want to sit and listen to music all day. Pot has more similarities to opium than LSD does. But at the time LSD was made illegal I doubt the people making the laws really knew anything about LSD or who was actually using it.

The fact that LSD was most popular among college students in the 60’s means it’s very highly likely many of our current government officials used LSD in college. I’ll bet a good 25% of the senators in the USA have used LSD at least once while in college. Maybe even our current president has. I would not be too surprised. With people like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs admitting to using LSD, just think about all of those other higly influential people who are keeping it a secret.

Steve Jobs said that LSD was for him, "one of the two or three most important things done in life."

Many Native Americans will say the same for peyote.

It's time to start being open about this and get the truth out there.

RULERS HAVE USED PSYCHEDELICS FOR AGES! They are not damaging, they are very helpful. In nearly all of the Native American cultures the rulers used psychedelics. The Aztecs, the Mayans, the Incas, their rulers all used psychedelics. These were powerful influential people of their day.

We need to get this made legal. We need to put effort into it.

Just making peyote legal for all citizens would be a major improvement.

I say we start a petition! !

But seriously, I 100% agree with you ron, somehow though I don't think any of that would ever be possible in the world today or in the not so distant future.. its just not a plausible thought.
