Identification of Terscheckii and Macrogonus?

Migrated topic.

Hi.:d
SWIM is new here, although he has been following Nexus for quite a while.
He is not entirely sure about when is appropriate to use 3rd person and he assumes that if it is only identification for ornamental purposes it is fine, but he is just making 100% sure.
He lives in South Africa, so he sends his greetings from the bottom of the World. :D (Football doesn't really interest him but YES the world cup is being hosted next to his house in a few weeks and the roads are going to be flooded.)

Anyway, SWIM has a few of what look like Trichocereus growing in his area.
Would he be correct in assuming the two cacti cuttings below are T. Terscheckii and T. Macrogonus respectively?

The typical Macrogonus looks totally different in other representations but fits the description perfectly in others.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks Phlux! I'm going to assume i'm right about the Terscheckii.
Any comments on alk content? Disregarding external factors its about the same as pedro per weight right?

Saw your Delosperma extract, man that was really inspiring!
Got loads of it growing at my house and have been mixing around quite a few prep techniques, very excited with my latest powder where I managed to get about 700grams of foliage into about a bottle cap size.

Ill try post something about it if it turns out successful.
