I was facinated with Jim years ago and read his bio and would sit in my house and smoke weed all night and just listen to the doors and write so I found this interesting.
 
hell yea i love the doors! listening now as i found this thread lol..
heres my question you think jim ever used dmt? i think the chances are high that he did
 
he could have...I know that the dead and the airplane where both into DMT..so maybe Jim was...he sure as hell ate lots of acid thats for sure..he apparently lived as a homeless poet on the roof of some building in LA till he got famous wearing the same welders jacket every day and eating loads of acid..
 
The doors are great

I saw this interview not too long ago and thought it was really cool how at the end Jim sort of says how he thinks music was headed towards a point where one person could entertain using machines..and now we have dj's and one person performing using computers and technology.
 
I saw them several times at the Wiskey a-GoGo in Hollywood and remember being stunned by the sheer poetry of the lead singer. I had caught them at a party in Venice (where I grew up) but their party music was different from a "show gig" and I was in no shape to listen to lyrics...

I will swap stories with you:lol: Its pretty dark but completely saturated with truth as well. Just like Jim was.

He quit tripping and starting drinking soon he was dead. If Morrison had used DMT I think he would have told us about it he had a way of expressing himself but who knows. Its like the folks that say he is still alive impossible he could not have remained silent.

i agree with this. i think that if jim used DMT, he would have said something about it and i think it could have possibly saved him from his self destruction.
