I've read that applying L-tryptophan to the soil of a Phalaris specimen can great increase the alkaloid content pretty well.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Im hoping for advice on the best methods to apply it to the soil.
As a side note: i really enjoy the idea of organic synthesis. Using DNA of creatures and feeding them the right food and growing conditions to synthesize alkaloids. Seems kind of like alchemy and shamanism under one glass-instrument filled teepee.
