Hahah, "if it's worth doing it's worth overdoing" But no, since you all seem pretty insistent I will try 20mgs sublingual first :)
 
Yeah plus you get fast tolerance to some substance and I know what they mean by sometimes less is more thoughtfull. you do'nt want always to have afull blown breakthrough with any substance (like alcohol for example) sometime the buzz is more rewarding (unlike our dear molecule N,N-DMT).

ive noticed that my herniated disc get´s sore a few days after mxe use, esp if i use it the same day i work out.

This is weird but i suspect mxe hurts my recovery from training somehow.

Anyone else noticed anything similar?
 
I only noticed side effects with 100mg+ doses and they were mostly neurological rather than physical. Never got as much as a headache, just felt emotionally burned out.
 
I think something is def going on since it´s so dehydrating even in small amounts.

Since i´m a workout freak so i usually feel any slight difference in my body.

Also i notice that about 3-4days after usage i get abit depressed for a day or two, probably has something to do with the suggested dopamin action it may have.

I guess this is where the danger of doing it to often is, to keep having the "afterglow"

Although i never felt any urge to do it more often than once per month max.


Ive mostly used it lately at psy parties when my acid or mdma starts to comedown and i wan´t to chill down on a few spliffs or changa before bedtime.

It really sparks up the effects of other drugs for me.
 
so ive been testing mxe for quite a few months now..i think i have taken it at least 100 times..at many different doses and in combination with many different chemicals...this drug has been one of the most useful tools i have used..i have learned a lot about myself and have learned how to sort of reprogram who i am with it...there are also some really amazing things that happen when combined with lsd...and with dmt...it seems to make the lsd last at least twice if not four times as long..

i took one hit of lsd at 7:30 in the morning..then slept till 8:30...then worked on my house all day..and then around 4pm i started taking low doses of mxe(around 8mg) nasally...i continued to do this slowly throughout the night...and into the next morning..at around 7am i started having almost dmt like visuals....like carved wood landscapes that moved around...it my friend turned into 1990's 3d polygon like shapes...but it was way way more chill than tripping that hard on acid..or on dmt...i was able to fall asleep very easily at this point..it was quite amazing
 
also..i have kept MOST of my doses rather low...no more than 30-40mg over the course of a night...and i have noticed very very few side effects..i have had worse come downs from mushrooms and pretty much everything else...not saying people wont have them..but i havent experienced any but positive ones...

also the addictive side of this drug is for me...nothing...i got weeks without trying any..and then sometimes i will do it a few days in a row...without any issues...

also i have only noticed SUPER SUPER mild tolerance issues...and they disappear after a few days...

if anything the effects have become more useful for me..

I've been wondering about what causes this.

I don't know about LSD, but a good few times that I smoked DMT with MXE, it seems to have some MAOI equivalent action. Only it comes on much slower and seems a lot more convincing and intense than the calming effect acheived with harmine or harmaline.

I've put my pipe down thinking I didn't smoke correctly than sat for a couple of minutes, then things get way too real. Like a type of DMT trip where you almost don't realise it's a trip.
 
I received 500mgs of Methoxetamine from an online distributor and between the 3 people who sampled it, it was 100% ineffective even in the 100mg range. So it's probably fake I'm assuming. Just sent them a bitchy email, and if it's not resolved to my satisfaction I will post the name of the company so no one else makes the mistake of ordering from them.
 
My experiences with this compound resemble that of Jorkest, I can not think about it for weeks and then have a bit a few days and then go back to normal life in a happy head space the next day.

Im the same untm, not even bothered with it recently but when I do I could maybe dose twice in three or four days then leave it for a few weeks. a friend gave me a load so I have lots sitting there and im not taking it all the time, but when I do take it I feel like taking it again a few days later, could easily see people using it too much but its just not been like that for me luckily.

I recently took 50mg oral and then 30mg sublingual two hours later. The come-up took some time but was absolutely wonderful, stimulative and ketamine-like with a more pronounced euphoria. The crazy peak must have lasted for more than two hours, starting one hour after my sublingual dose. The psychedelic effects were, as expected, much like ketamine. It's interesting how one can have profound feelings and realizations, while still having an ego more or less intact.

I had no real visions with eyes opened, but I was very dissociated. I could never remember what happened just the last instance. This resulted in scenery changes all the time, ranging from the most absurd mind sets to the most blissful ones. Lighting up a spliff was next to impossible and took many tries. I found that if I put on some dark psychedelic music from Parvati, I would stay more in the present moment of eternality. And boy, the music sounded incredible.

The scenery I saw (but not really experienced in a broad sense) with closed eyes was highly dependent on what I was focusing on, I could choose to see more or less exactly what I wanted, at least in natural and fractal patterns. It was interesting to have so much 'control', compared to the 'letting go with the flow' of DMT, psilocin and the like. All in all MXE was interesting, but I prefer the usual entheogens. Perhaps MXE mixed with DMT or mushrooms would be interesting, as to experience both control and flow at the same time. If that's even possible...

Oh, and I had a headache during and after the come-down, maybe because of little sleep.
 
MXE + beer/wine + changa + music = great

Melatonin, however, does not go well with the mixture. Strange and unsettling fluctuations in body temperature and pressure that are not really welcome or pleasant. It also seems to "close off" some of the "shit that gets opened up" by the above combination, which lasts into the afterglow i.e. diminishes it. Exercise caution and remember to stay hydrated in general.
 
I myself have been having some wonderful times recently with moderate to high dose mxe with cannabis, a few small glasses of cider, and then later on vaporized dmt. This combo really makes for a potent, almost always insightfully healing night. I feel that Methoxetamine has enormous potential if used short-term in a closed therapy session. Careful not to overdo it on the ethanol though, it seems to be much less forgiving compared to ketamine.
 
Do you Would say that mxe is better trip than 4-aco-dmt? For the follow purposes: feeling inner peace, mistyc thougts, no mindfucking, easy on the body, euphoria, laughing a lot, no side effects like tachycardia, chills, tremors etc... I question this because I´m very little experience with 4-aco-dmt, but the trip experiences on it was very smooth, gentle, easy, euphoric, and deep sometimes, a very good one. I´m considering trying mxe but is a very novel rc and im satisfied with 4-aco properties. Is mxe better in the above aspects at normal relatively "safe" doses (25-40 mg)? I only have experience with nitrous as dissociative. The first two-three times I laughed as crazy, but after that no laughed so more, only feel a warm vibrating feeling in my body with metallic hear.
 
20 mg produces light effects for me, 40-50 is where magic starts to happen, and a boawl of weed on top kicks things into turbo mode. Be careful when mixing with weed!

Holing has produced astral travelling, strange landscapes and a great deal of introspection. It does seem like a 'swiss army knife' as some one so eloquently put it earlier in the thread. I hear good things about combining with Changa, but the only time I have properly tried to blast off with MXE was a total fail. I was assaying some honey oil that I had not tried before (so could have been bunk?) It was also about 20 mins after ingestion, so maybe I should have waited a little longer before smoalking.... I will give it one more attempt before giving up and not mixing again. My friend who I dosed with said that the combo was 'sublime' for him, but my results have been dysphoric and disappointing so far, which is a real shame as I had high hopes for the combo...

I feel this stuff has a lot of promise as a tool for introspection and personal work, but I feel a pen and pad would be entirely necessary to get the most out of the fleeting insights, they do come thick and fast, particularly with THC involved. While pleasurable, I am not sure it should be treated as a recreational substance, or similar to K, smaller groups seem ideal for this substance, where you can drift if you like, or engage in dialogue when something worthwhile pops into your noggin...

Also, my GF had a pretty unpleasant reaction to 20mg after a few pints of beer, nothing excessive, she reported confused thoughts and 'feeling too fucked' - which is saying something for her, a very experienced K head... So yes, be wary of even low doses and alcohol, I feel this compound is best used at low -medium doses on a clean head, or maybe after some weed if you are that way inclined, the synergy for me is very trippy and quite captivating. Sleep is tricky even after baseline as well, not something I would do on a school night.

Compared to K it gets me deeper for longer, is less 'head fucky' and my thoughts seem to make sense, plus the visual aspect and sense of travel is quite a unique characteristic...
