ok, since i am unable to post in the mushroom section, i'll ask here....

i read something about a "mushroom lemon tek" that said you could soak your shrooms in lemon juice for 20 minutes and ".. it converts most if not all of the psilocybin into psilocin..".......

...is this true? you can put your mushrooms in just regular lemon juice and after 20 minutes this happens then you can ingest them?

I haven't tried it myself but there's a member named TVCasualty on Mycotopia that has plenty of experience with mushrooms and confirms your belief. Here's a link lemon juice and mushrooms. He also says Ginko works like a mild MAOI.

yea, it seems that the ascorbic acid in the lemon converts the psilocybin to psilocin thus potentiating the experience. here's a thread about it: Mushroom Lemon Tek
