Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz

Has been very addictive for me. There is a of 'depth' to this record and it rewards repeated listens. If you like to really "peel away the layers" with each listen, it's a good choice. I'm not sure it would be great to listened to in an altered state, however, if that's what you're after.

I've been a fan Porcupine Tree for some time, but I'd not heard this song before. I've got a number of their albums all of which are very good. Steven Wilson and co are a seriously creative bunch.
 
Liking the musical mix here people!

I've not had the best day...some serious woman/love issues have been wearing me down and I'm now pretty much alone on a very snowed in uni campus until the night before Christmas eve when I hope the trains will be running and I'll be able to meet family and friends I haven't seen in a long time.

Music is good medicine. Again, Aphex Twin pops up. Amazing how he can vary from so dark to so light in tone. This tune I would consider light, in an epic sense. Also it so happens this song came out only a few years after I was born...amazing.
