These guys have been a favorite of mine for about 5 years now. Saw them live at two small venues in Bellingham and got my ticket stub and an album cover signed. Real nice people.

Funny you mention Paublo Moses. I never head of either of them and my friend took me to see Paublo Moses open for Don Carlos. Its the only show I have been to that at the end the performers stood at the exit shaking hands with everyone and thanking them for coming to the show. Love em both.

nice, that must have been a great show! it makes sense that they would perform together.

Hi guys, dug that nina simone a good bit. Will look at Don Carlos and Pablo Moses tonight.

Here's some of what I been chewing on over the last week

This song is pure love and awesome, feel good vibes
Bag Raiders - Sunlight

feels really similar to mgmt to me, like this
Time to pretend

then a little darker

spent almost whole days on this one tune mixed with mxe (gotta listen with real speakers louder the better, laptop ones not good enough)
Alice in Chains - Nutshell

and then THIS, love it, love it
Josh Ritter - Rattling Locks (remix)

This particular song has helped me thru so many tough times through out the past few years. And I've found a special place in my heart for it a long time ago. I know some may think its "over rated", but i think that many people can relate to it as well. Plus The Allman Brothers are top notch world class musicians who have NEVER disappointed me at a show.

Not only that song, but almost anything Warren Hanes plays is "golden". That man helped change my life and helped open up a whole world of music in my head. I heard him for the first time in 2002 at The House Of Blues in New Orleans.... during Mardi Gras. He was playing with his side project Government Mule, with Dave Schools of Widespread Panic filling in on bass.

He they opened up my ear that night for the first time in a sense. They pulled me up from out of that cookie cutter (im not talking about electronic music, just to clarify) bs music that so many people fall victim to.

Hope you like it...

I been listening to Ott's new album Mir. I wasn't that taken with it after the first listen, but its definitely growing on me now.

I listen to this everyday. I go out to my truck and put this on the stereo, my trucks engine doesn't work, but luckily the stereo does. The two 12" subs make it a blissful experience, the music just isn't the same without that deep bass vibrating your soul.

AFL (After Fade Listen) is another one of my top favorites.
Check out the different smoke sessions here: Smoke Sessions , each one is a little different.
And his mixes are pretty good as well: Faded Mixes

I've just downloaded Entheogenic's latest album from bandcamp. Very impressed with it. It seems very similar in feel to their first two albums, which I rate as some of the best psy-chill I've heard. Definitely worth a listen.
