DMT being so fractal, detailed and layered suggests to me a multiplicity of sound - overlapping and morphing, serpentine unfolding forms rather than mapped ones, multiple rhythms intermeshing and separating out again, big chords with a lots of different textures in them, wide frequency range with textual variation and clarity throughout it. To be honest I have been a complete Shpongle slut lately because that new album is just so unbelievable and I can't seem to stop myself listening to it over and over. It sounded really completely fantastic on acid the other day...

Agree? Oh there is a lot of music I 'agree with' ie. share its worldview, like the idea of it, but that does not necessarily mean I melt listening to it. My favourite stuff is the music that makes something vubrate or enflame inside my mind and body, gives me the desire to move, dance, contort, to laugh, weep and come.
I forgot Amon Tobin. He is one of my big faves at the moment too.
Ps. shoe, yor avatar image looks more like what I see on DMT than just about any other graphic representation I have ever seen. Where did it come from? That designer and me must have visited some of the same DMT worlds.

OMG coatl, thats the funniest shit i've heard today. You are very correct many tend to share that view now, but i don't think peace is completely out of the picture, even the ones who believe that eventualy find out whats really important. One thing i think causes that view is intelligence is on a down slide, if we educate people more we get better results.

I dont consider my self a hippie just because I have not had a hair cut in 14 years that does not necessarily make one a hippie.
Why no haircut you may ask? Because I use my appearance as a filter. What this means is that I encourage others to judge me based on my long hair and other stereotypical aspects. This allows me to filter out the bigots,rednecks ect who I have NO desire to interact with anyway! By judging me they have done me a favor because I dont need them just as they do not need me.
Just like Mama use to say to me "you do not hate anybody you just dislike them" a important piece of wisdom I will never forget
