plants with 5meodmt?

A few plants. Virola theiodora resin (not bark!) has high 5-MeO-DMT content.
There is another species of Anadenanthera that isnt sold commercially but might contain high 5-MeO-DMT, I am looking into making some tests in the near future and will spread the word, check back this thread in a couple of weeks...
There was a rumour that Diplopterys cabrerana leaf contained 5-MeO-DMT in significant quantity (a rumour spread by 69ron mostly), but this is not true. There has only been a single publication that found traces of 5-MeO-DMT (Agurell et al 1968), and it is a ridiculously small trace amount (like 0.00001% or something), definitely not enough for psychoactivity. Dennis Mckenna (1984) failed to find 5-MeO-DMT, and only found DMT plus some traces of bufotenine. I also just GC-MSed some Diplopterys cabrerana and failed to find again some 5-MeO-DMT, so I think we can forget about D. cabrerana as a 5-MeO-DMT source.
Also, notice our updated WIKI is having much better organized info. I will add in the next couple of days a lot of info to the 5-MeO-DMT wiki, like the DMT wiki which has been updated but still needs some additions and better referencing to the subsection of plants that contain it. So check back the wiki in a couple of days.

Very interesting endlessness!
a few acacias contain it...
a few acacias contain it...
I believe that phalaris arundinacea contains both spice and 5-methoxy-spice.
Correct me if I'm mistaken but isn't there a school of thought that has Moses taking some kind of psychoactive substance, possibly Acacia snuff, when he witnessed the burning bush and heard the voice of God?
I mean to say it kind of makes sense, acacia is widely distributed in the Sinai peninsula and surrounding areas?
Also I'm of the mind that Mohammed had t have been tripping of something to see the angel Gabrielle and have the Qur'an recited to him over 23 years?
Here's a passage from the Qur'an which sounds alot like what happens to one when you have a full on breakthrough!
34:7
Those who disbelieve have said, "Let us show you a man who tells you that after you are torn apart you will be created anew.
Any thoughts??

^..i don't think Moses had access to phalaris, however Trying to improve Acacia information - Collaborative Research Project - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus p.2 post#39 describes the suggested 'tree of knowledge'..
