Practical differences between freebase/crystal and fumerate?

Migrated topic.

Hey guys, I've been travelling with nice white crystals so far, and have got a bit of a thing going now where they're kind of making sense.

However, as I'm doing the BLAB, I'll be producing fumerate.

What actual difference does this make regarding dose:weight, changa, stability, heat resistance, vaporising temperature etc?

I ask because at present I'm bonging, which I think the fumerate may be better suited too by the information I've gleaned (more heat resistant), but does this not mean it will be a swine to vaporise in The Machine (I really need to get that working).

you cant smoke fumarates.. you have to freebase them first. They are good for storage and taking orally. To freebase, mix with sodium carbonate, add water to make paste, then pull with IPA or acetone 3x and evap that

Thank you guardian Ghostman, I had a look but couldn't find anything that to the point.

I doth my cap 😉

Basically, fumerate supposedly has a longer shelf life and is better for snorting and pharma (orally with a MAOI). Freebase is still preferred for smoking/vaping and those whose cats do make fumerate still do a conversion to freebase for smoking.

Fumerate is not exempt from oxidization (n, n, dmt -> dmt n-oxide) and many actually prefer the smoother ride that n-oxide offers.

Also with fumerate your cat gets to recycle materials like solvents.

If you smoke fumerate it takes ages to cool down in your lungs and the onset is much slower than freebase as a result. Usually when I inhale freebase DMT it won't come out again, though with fumerate even after about 20 seconds thick clouds come out when I exhale.

Not worth it.
