problem with second separation

Hello.

After a some unpleasant adventures, i have to finish what i started.

I use this tek, with two bottles

but I kinda changed Step Six

Instead of adding 4 times 50ml, I add 200ml at once and mix it 6times to full separation.

First part its easy, 6 heptane separation takes about an hour, not more.

When two bottles was finish, then i add second 200ml, to one of them, mix 3 times, and this 200ml pour into another bottle, and mix again 3 times.

Its give me some extra field very pure dmt (not even 1mg of fat)



Problem is, everytime i add this second 200ml to first bottle, every separation takes no less than 2 hours. It goes very very slowly

What is the problem?
why it take that long?

Seems like a hell of a lot of solvent to be using. I generally find it useful to keep the mix warm. If my base/solvent mix is kept around 40-50deg C then I find separation occurs fully with in a couple of minutes.

I tend to drop in 50ml of hot solvent in, mix that continuously for a minute on a stopwatch end over end and let it separate (takes 1-3 minutes to separate). Then repeat that process 4 times per pull. Takes around 45 minutes to do 4 complete pulls, but that's all I've ever needed.

Just add more water to your base mix...
The only reason for solvent not to seperate is if the mix is too Sludgy

Also 200ml for each pull is way too much...50-75ml is right.
Just stick to the tek and don't try and get creative if you don't know the process

he proportions are the same in every bottle, to 1 to milliliter.

in first bottle it take long, in second it goes easy;p everytime.

i ask for it,and in response I got, its no difference if i add at once 200ml or 4x50ml.

its just a easier way.

Question to step 6.

i should pull out every time this 50ml before adding next 50ml?
or I can mix it all together in 200ml?

i ask for it,and in response I got, its no difference if i add at once 200ml or 4x50ml.

^^ this is wrong.

Every pull is 50ml (not 200ml)...you can then take out the solvent and combine them...

If you combine the solvent...reduce the overall amount by half (by evaporation to the air, this will concentrate the solvent)... then freeze.

and what is the difference between adding at once 200ml, and like above, adding 4 times 50ml ?

Ah, one more, last! i promise

i thinking about, recrystallization.
Although, after using heptane and Your tutorial, field comes out very clean, white or a little yellow, little. But I always have a lot of waste in the form of 'strips of fat".
Sometimes, during scraping it mix a little with dmt , giving a fairly greasy product.

If i recrystallization this, do i have a much lost with weight overall amount? 5% 10%? 20%?

it's kind of no greater difference for me. But I have not quite accurate weight, easier to measure with more product, but on the other side, I would like to do the most pure dmt that only I can.
