Root bark storage

Hi all,

I'm probably going to do my first extraction real soon once I obtain all the materials. I'm not in any hurry though, and I'm not going to be out buying a lot of suspicious materials all at once, especially if I have to turn to the internet for more than the bark. Because of the raid in the past year I want to make sure I get my hands on a nice quantity of that first off. I was wondering how long can MHRB be stored without a loss of quality? And what is the proper way to store it?

Hello. I had the same question a few weeks ago. This thread helped me. Good luck.
People say that is a better idea to store Not-powdered MHRB than powdered one.

If you want to store your MHRB for the long haul, this is the way to go: Vacuum pack it with one of those plastic vacuum sealers. Before sealing, throw in a few oxygen absorbers and dessicant packs. I would imagine that it will last longer than you.

I had some bark that lasted a few years in the freezer
It was just as good when I used it again

Nothing fancy, just in a bag
