Hello fellow travellers!
I've just recently (the past half year) introduced my friend to psychedelics/drugs; mostly just mushrooms, MDMA and DMT. He has somewhat peculiar reactions to all of them, and I know for a fact that there's nothing strange about the drugs themselves, as I (and many others) have tried the same batches. I'm not the most experienced tripper myself, but I've done my fair share and heard quite a lot of my friends' stories as well.
With this guy however, the trips are quite different: not a lot of hallucinations with shrooms/DMT, no mysticism whatsoever. He says that he reaches this nothingness, zen-place, where he is at peace with himself and everything (and that's how he is sober, as well). He wonders why there's no fireworks, so to say. When he smoked DMT, we loaded up 50-60mg in a GVG. He wonders why he comes to this zen-place every single time he trips, on everything he's tripping on; have you guys had the same linearity in your experiences?

. It's novelty and unpredictability increase the appeal to some of us.
