I too remember reading that lye needs much higher temps to vaporise....

To me, this flies in the face of everything this community stands for. Education, harm reduction and generally responsible actions are vital to safeguarding the molecule for all. Those who can't (or won't) get on board should get the fuck out, in my opinion.

Yes and no; the user got a 2 days suspension because he suggested using his friend as a guinea pig. The user got into a process without understanding the theory, he ended up with a questionable end-product, he was given warnings that this is going to be anything including totally inactive and dangerous, but he decided that it is worth giving it a go. Since the cautionary notes from the other members maybe convinced him that what he has is prolly dangerous, he decides it is safe not to smoke it and that he's clever enough to find another idiot to try it for him. There are more than one things going wrong here!!


However I'd like to see the user coming back, his suspension anyway was a slap in the hand and probably he'll learn a few more things about extractions and ETHICS. I am 100000% confident that not a single member around here ever extracted dmt, harmalas, mescaline, bufotenine etc and offered them to his friends without trying them himself first.

What I wouldn't like to see if he comes back is him making a thread like: "I gave my friend to smoke this and he ended up in the hospital. Both the doctors and the police ask me what did he smoke. what do I tell them?"
 
Oh I totally agree, his approach is completely reprehensible, I am not questioning the reasons for the suspension. The only thing is that I'm a bit worried about his friend, and I wish we could hear back from them. Then slap him around. But I understand the forum policies, do as you see fit.
 
A while ago the arrest of a mexican dude, working for the maffia, made international headlines. This guy's job was basically to get rid of all the dead bodies that would otherwise cause suspicion....having a pile of 100+ dead bodies in your backyard usually attracts the attention of the the people who work for the government, you haven't been able to bribe or assasinate yet, see?

Anyway, this guy's tek was realy simple: you have a tank with lye and water, you dump the corpses in this tank of water and lye (don't need to chop them into pieces or anything, so it's a relatively clean tek), let it sit for a couple of days and voila.....the corpse has vanished into thin air or rather, it has dissolved in your basified water, leaving only a reddish sludge.

Now the thing is: lye has this disturbing habit of not bothering much about whether the organic material it encounters is alive or not.

so basically he did an STB tek? I guess if someone pulls from his lye tank with naphtha he may get few dmt doses.

Well, I guess it's good to know there are viable source material alternatives. After darkstorm and other likeminded imbeciles have fucked up the mimosa party for the rest of us, they can always be hunted down and dissolved for future extraction purposes.
 
after reading these posts i discarded of the shit with lye in it... anyone know where i can find a tek for phalaris that doesnt take forever?

I believe there is no such a tek yet.

There are a few members working on a tek to extract just the DMT, but nothing solid yet.
 
Yes, glad everyone's alive! Take your time dude, hyperspace is in no hurry, in fact it tends to have little or no concept of time, so don't worry about it.
 
OOC, what IS the problem with the Jim DeKorne phalaris tek? It seems lengthy, but definitely doable. Especially if you were working with large quantities, it seems like it'd be worthwhile.
