Sick of being ripped off with bark

Here lately I have gotten bark from 3 places and I only extract plant material and no good stuff. Could it possibly be that I use a magnetic stirrer for aqueous solution and base? I dont use the stirrer after I add my solvent either. Starting to cost alot with no gain and not sure what I should do from here.

Can you take a photo of the bark? So we can judge the color and consistency. Seems unlikely you'd hit three separate scams in a row though.

Magnetic stirring won't harm anything. What tek are you following, can you describe exactly everything you've tried?

I use cybs salt tek

Water bath of 120 degrees fahrenheit throughout the whole extraction.

1 hour in aquaous solution
( 200ml water & 60ml of vinegar )

1 hour in base
( 100ml water & 30g salt )
( 200ml cold water & 50g sodium hydroxide )
( 50ml clean naphtha and rolling after each layer seperates )
( Decant naphtha into pyrex baking dish with water proof seal )
( Freeze precipitate for 8-10 hours )

I'm just a new guy and I've only done a couple of extractions myself but I really enjoy helping people if I can

after spending many hours reading all the teks and people's comments on the threads from over the years I think what you may benefit from doing is leaving it for more than one hour in the base they say it will help to break down the plant material, I'm thinking especially since your bark does not appear super finely ground

I have pdf instructions from the supplier of my bark suggesting you should mix the layers up and let them separate a few times although I'm not certain that should be necessary

How much bark do you use with the other volumes you mentioned, perhaps not enough sodium hydroxide to reach the desired ph? Chemistry is amazing but tbh most of it is still over my head lol

Bark looks good bru. I would use caustic soda instead of the hydroxide. Definitely need to coffe grind that down into a real dust.

Also i would stir/shake the mix with naptha atleast 5times of 2minutes. Let it settle for overnight and then remove to freeze.

Also freezing for 24hour+.

10 hours is very short. No need to rush this

caustic soda is just the domestic name for sodium hydroxide / lye / NaOH.

Caustic soda is literally exactly the same as sodium hydroxide. You ought to think twice about offering anyone any advice about chemistry if you don't realise this.

Your phrasing here could be misinterpreted as suggesting that coffee grinding the sodium hydroxide would be beneficial. That's probably not what you meant, but it's still worth pointing out that there's absolutely no reason to powder caustic soda, and any resulting dust would likely be very hazardous.

Please take more care with your posts in order to prevent this kind of misinterpretation from happening.

Could be your vaping technique, but you'll need to tell us in clear and precise detail for a chance of troubleshooting that.
