Syrian Rue seeds

I just received 100gr. of Syrian Rue seeds for the first time and I'm wondering what I should do with them.
What should be my first step to get to know the Rue. Should I make tea? Can I smoke crushed seeds for effects or should I go straight into extracting the harmalas?

I really want to try this out but I don't want to waste anything and I don't want to get super nauseous.
 
a couple grams in a tea tastes disgusting but is a great way to get familiar with the drug.

the tea at the peak of an acid trip for example is a truly miraculous and rather intense thing.
 
If you don't want to get super nauseous, don't eat over 6 grams. I don't get very much nausea myself at this dosage, but I have an iron stomach, so my view could be slightly biased.

You can smoke the seeds if you want, I have done it in the past with mild to great success. I don't remember if they taste good or not though.
 
I'd recommend doing a few experiments to see what you like best.

First thing, is 100g isn't a whole lot, but it is more than enough to get familiar with this great plant.

What I would do, is extract 50 - 75g and save the rest for smaller oral experiments.

An extraction of 50g should give you a yield of roughly a 1.5g of harmalas for changa, pharma or sublingual.

With the rest you could find out which method you prefer, whether it be crushed seeds capped, tea or a full spectrum extract.

Just play around with it and find out what works best for you.

I don't recommend smoking the seeds. While it's not too unpleasant, it's not delightful either.

You're way better off smoking the extracted harmalas.
 
What tek would you use to extract. And is it necessary to separate the harmine and harmaline?

I've heard you get less nauseous if you brew tea from seeds without crushing them. Anybody have experience with that?
 
What's the main difference between the effects of B. Caapi and Syrian Rue?

How much Caapi would I need to get effects of similar strength as from 3gr. of Rue seeds?

50 gr.

Tea from roasted and then grinded seed tastes more like coffee and they are easier to crush.
 
I too am curious about this..
Anyone have experience with raw rue in caps, compared to say, a tea, or an extract? Does the tea or extract indeed cut down on nausea?? or what other ways are there to reduce nausea, is a tea made from whole seeds as potent as one from grinded ones,

One of swim's worst experiences comes from playing around with rue, not knowing what he was doing. Putting it into gelcaps was the worst idea yet. He remembers a night of intense turmoil within his entrails. Just about as miserable as one can get.
Make a tea of about 3g, not even boiling just hot for 30 min, filter, drink and eat like four datura seeds. No side effects whatsoever!
