Seventy years old and it's still more relevant now than ever... I wish people would have listened... It was his biggest commercial success and with the way things in the world are today, you'd think no one ever saw it.

Indeed, no problem.. I especially like the part about the kingdom of God being within us all because that had to have been really powerful since most of the population at the time probably thought of God as something outside of themselves, if I'm correct?

neat. Where is it from?

the problem I guess is... words are cheap, but as much as we carry within us the potential for compassion and sincerity, we carry within us a multitude of other things, fear, pain, greed, selfishness, various traumas, etc. All of these prevent us from acting with pure benevolence for a greater good but keep us confined in violent and un-progressive scenarios. We are not yet functional enough to work together for a greater good. We cannot even work towards a smaller good... It's not clear to me where one would have to start a transformation, but I'm pretty sure these personal and individual problems we all carry with us need to be addressed before something can change. Otherwise we will continue to create a projection of our inner turmoil outside of us...

I enjoyed the vid though. so thanks for that :)

I agree. There is definitely quite a bit of work to do if such a world were ever to be effected and would probably take nothing short of a cataclysmic disaster, or a miracle to get it done. Probably multiples of each. But I don't think our scenario is necessarily that bad... Well... I don't know. My life is good, but many are not. They do it to themselves though in my opinion, which I'm still forming though so go easy on me. Personally, I don't think it would really be that hard for the individual problems we all carry to be addressed, at least to a much higher degree than they are now once a new culture/paradigm is accepted by the masses, which I think once the ball gets rolling could be pretty rapid. What's the quote about how one grain of something dropped into a solution is all it takes for the whole thing to crystallize, and any moment could be that drop that it takes to make everything start changing? Meaning the crystallization would be the dissolution of division, and our national borders, which are quite literally entrenched through our own psyche, and the unification of the people, which would be the mass revelation, acceptance, and reverence, etc, of/for the idea that we are not separate from the Earth or each other.. That we are all one, etc... Then the separate aspects that make up the working whole of our current scenario, which are technologically advanced but not properly utilized, would be integrated much more fluently in this new paradigm, thus empowered. This would empower everyone as an individual with true freedom.

IMO.
