I think Antrocles was one of the first to extol the virtues of the GVG.

My first time using the GVG led to a similar result – I started inhaling, but was convinced I was doing something wrong. I couldn’t feel any harsh vapors. No taste, no smell, just warm air. I was sure I hadn’t inhaled anything other than air. And then suddenly, I began to feel some very familiar sensations, and I knew it was working.

Does it really not hurt your throat at all? Come on, really? It seems like dmt, no matter how pure or whether it's from a gvg of not, will cause a numbing / sore feeling in the throat. That's what dmt does. It you put in on your tongue when it's freebase, that's how it feels. Does it really not hurt at all at all at all??????

ah dammit, I'll probably get one. Thanks for the help. I hope it's all true though. I can't imagine dmt not hurting the throat a little bit. It's gotta!! At least, that's what seems to be true. The molecule, no matter the form, just doesn't feel good on mucous membranes, IME.

I have a non-smoker friend that tried the GVG and he said it was the smoothest vapor he's ever tried.

The GVG is indeed the best device SWIM ever tried. He had broken a bunch of miscelaneous bulbs :roll:, tried strange machines... get used to the harsh smoke and perfected his smoking technic.
With GVG it's indeed like hot air, althought anyway something is felt the next morning in the lungs.

Side note 1 : for DMT, uses several metal screens otherwise the DMT melt and fall down inside the pipe, nothing beeing vaporised

Side note 2 : french people : the customs will ask you a shamely hight tax :x Be prepared...

Indeed. SWIM get used to journey in total dark, therefore the smoke was visible when lit from under a thin glass with a device attached to a long tube.

GVG glass is pretty thick (which is a good thing for solidity) so the smoke flow is less visible compare to his previous device, especially in darkness. It does not really matter in practice anyway.

They didnt send me cleaning kit in the post though even though i paid for one... How do you guys go about cleaning the condensation? The dmt seems to condense on the sides quite alot if i can't quite finish that second/third hit

So I have decided to believe the hype and get myself a GVG. Can anyone in the UK that has one tell me how they got it? Can you only buy direct from the US? Anyone have any problems with import taxes etc?

You can only get it from vaporgenie.com; it will cost you $125-129 and I would advise paying by creditcard as the guys are very prompt in processing the order if paid for in this way.

I received mine 8 days after making the purchase but I had to go to the post office depot to pick it up and at that end I had to pay £26 and a few pence as customs duty.No hassles at any point in the process and Im very happy with the choice.
