HI!

It seems silly to let this loose steam when we have most of the bulk material written, just no one to slap it all together. I hope jounrney to jah's difficult situation improves. In the meantime though, Pharmer's husband ("Just Desert", who posted up there ^ ) has skills with this sort of thing and is willing to help if we can just send him what we have, and give some general guidance as to the format and so on.

To to those who were compiling articles/material for this, do you still have it? is it finished? could you send it over? Lets do eeeet
 
If we need some science input I would be happy to do something, could do a piece bringing together the science on psilocybin, or something on psychedelics and neurogenesis.
 
If we can't reach J2J and get all of what he has from him, I am available to resend my contribution to whoever takes over the reigns. Just PM me and I will have the article/trip report in your hands ASAP.

I did work on a few things:

1) the Antrocles interview. If I dig around enough I should be able to find the final edit in an old PM.
It included several photos which I may need to get from Ant again- had a bad hard drive meltdown recently. But this can happen quickly.

2) the reality of the DMT experience by Global. He passed the article to me and I did some minor pruning etc, basic editorial stuff. I can probably recover that draft from old PMs as well. It included a cool illustration by Cyb, which we'll need to grab from him again. No doubt he backs his stuff up better than I do.

3) the Traveler questions. After reviewing the submitted ones with other members, I made a simplified, cleaned up list and sent it to Traveler. I don't know where it went after that, but it's easy enough to ask him.

I'm glad you all thought to resurrect this, I was just bumming about it the other day. Good call.

- If it is to be a website, does nexus already have a hosting environment that can support it? If it is pure html,css,js and/or if it were PHP / WordPress as well?

- Does something that interacts like either http://mattduvall.com/peeler.js/ or http://sportsillustrated...ngform/tebow/index.html provide an interaction that appeals to you? Both are javascript UI elements that allow an interesting scroll effect.

The article about jurema was finished, and posted in this thread. You can contact me if you require the original document and the pictures for layout.

And I'm glad the e-zine seems to be regaining the momentum it lost :thumb_up:

I'm obviously coming into this game in the 4th quarter. Happy to help but NOT looking to be the QB, running back, receiver and defense. In order for me to be able to help / do the layout / design stuffs, someone else needs to step up to take on what I call Content Wrangling activities:

- Collect all the stories / graphics / photos that have been submitted
- Decide what goes on each page, in what order
- Ensure proper attribution for those content pieces
- Any review / editing of content required

Basically - Someone who can get everything into a single doc - Word, Open Office, text, whatever - so that I can do page layout to make all that pretty and flow together. I'd use tools like InDesign or Pagemaker or some of the html/css stuff I linked before if it makes sense based on the unanswered hosting question.

If someone is willing to do that, let me know. I'll happily get you a template for content that works with whatever software(s) you prefer that I can then get the ball across the finish line.

You guys can just send it all to me and i'll throw it together into a .pdf once we figure out the order, and then send it to JD (i'm assuming order is the same as the layout in the OP but we can tinker if we want)
 
UniverseCannon, that sounds great. Thanks for taking that on. I don't know if there was ever a final order decided for this, but sometimes it's hard to really know until you have all the actual material in hand... Layout can be like that. So please use your judgement on that one.
