GUYS, PLEASE HELP GET THIS BULL OFF OF YOUTUBE!! flag away my friends!
man nearly "dies" after taking a "dangerous drug"
"
I flagged it for "disgusting content". What the heck is that doctor talking about dmt shutting down the "master gland", the pineal gland? Is he reading from a phony script or something? I have a hard time believing a doctor would say such a thing. DMT doesn't "shut off" you "master gland" Very strange how even a supposed man of science can take PURE sceculation and spew it off as fact, in order to push an agenda.
I'm sorry the two fools who thought they were dying, but weren't, were silly enough to call the authorities on themselves, and expose themselves, and everyone else using dmt to false, misleading, dangerous propaganda. Even the title of the video is misleading. Bellevue man nearly dies after taking dmt. Really? How close was he to dying? Not close at all. Maybe they should make a news story on how many people have
actually died after taking dmt, and make a line chart to compare the number of deaths related to dmt compared to alochol, or any number of drugs, legal or not. You wouldn't even be able to see the dmt death line compared to other substances. I don't understand why they try to push this "deadly drug" agenda when the facts are not on their side. And I really don't understand why people buy it. Anyone who does any sort of research after watching that article would quickly learn that dmt is not a "deadly drug". The only positive I could see of such a newstory is that if they make enough stories that are obviously ridiculous, people will eventually see through them.
Of course, the news, and the public in general, make ZERO attempt to try to understand what would motivate a person to try such a substance. The doctor says, ""the concerns about ordering anything over the internet is, how do you know what you're getting, and what is this substance going to really do to you, besides the fork over on the street that it's gonna make you hallucinate, give you a near death experience, or trip you out". There is this attitude that the only reason someone might take dmt is "just to get high". There is no attempt to understand the deep and authentic drive to learn about ones self, about consciousness, about life, and to spirituality. Again, people need to RESEARCH what they are getting in to. No one here listened to "forkles" or whatever he said, "on the street" telling us what dmt is going to do. We did our research, unlike everyone who made that newsclip. Ironic the doctor would have an attitude against unspecified, non existent "people on the street" giving poor information about the effects of dmt. If that doctor was talking to someone who had never heard of dmt, how would the ignorant person respond when asked, "what does dmt do?" That person would say, "DMT shuts down the master gland. A doctor even said so". I don't give much credibility to what people say on the street, but I expect more from a doctor. Where is the objectivity? Where are the real facts? The only factual part of that video was the part that said, "the doctor has not seen a dmt overdose in his emergency room". No kidding.
There's a reason a lot of people here choose to take dmt, and not take alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, meth, and many other choice substances. We did our homework, we researched the safety record of psychedelics. We went in to this with an attitude of healing and exploration. And speaking personally as a person who has been on certain government approved prescription medication, I have much greater faith in doing my own research, buying natural botanical products from a comunity supported vendor, in which that community is composed of non profit users (the nexus), who have no interest in the vendor, other than they provide the quality product they are supposed to provide..... back to my point, I have had far worse experiences with prescription medication than the medicine I have been lucky enough to find here myself.
I wouldn't so much mind the negative propaganda surrounding dmt and psychedellics if it weren't for one little big huge thing.... psychedelics are illegal and by extension all users!!
Anyone who dares to do their own research and make their own decision to take this substance is potentially a criminal punishable up to 10 years in prison! If people don't want to take dmt, if people want to go on believing that psychedelic drugs are bad and there is no use for them, then fine, that's their business, they shouldn't try dmt. But that does not make someone with a different opinion, someone who makes a different choice, a criminal who deserves to have their life destroyed by prison. Imprisoning such a person is a crime against against liberty and human rights.
