The only problem I have with flagging is that in order to flag, you have to state that your reason for flagging the video is because it contains "harmful or dangerous acts: drug abuse". It is very hard for me to call that a "dangerous act", and offensive for me to call it "drug abuse". I guess that's the only terminology available.
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with that vid. It's just a guy lying on a couch. I certainly don't see why anyone would look at that vid and say, "that should be illegal and that person should go to prison for 5 years!!" However, recent events have caused a resurgence in the salvia debate, as more states are pushing for a ban. Now the opposition is claiming that the mere fact that there are a large number of salvia videos posted online is grounds for making salvia illegal. Apparently these politicians don't care that the videos aren't showing people getting hurt, aren't showing a risk to public health, there's just a large number of salvia videos. Apparently, that alone is what policy makers are using to push for a ban on salvia. It's sad and it's disgusting.... but that's what they're doing.
For God's sake, if you're going to make a youtube vid on entheogens, at least make it about what entheogens mean to you, what impact they have had, and stress that you're a real person too, who doesn't particularly want to go to jail because someone else decided that salvia or dmt is bad, and that you're not a criminal. Don't post vids of yourself while under the influence. That serves no purpose, and apparently encourages opposition who for some reason want to make your personal choice criminal.
