Trazodone and DMT

Has anyone had any experience with this drug interaction? I was recently prescribed Trazodone for sleep issues. I have read the stickied post that it may decrease the effects, but I was wondering if anyone here has had any first had experience.

I am taking Trazodone for two weeks for sleeping issues and depression which I had from childhood and start to be serious after ending of problematic relationship. When it is antagonist of 5-HT2 receptor it is probably not good to smoke dmt when person is on Trazadone. If it is true I want to know how long I have to wait after not taking Trazadone to smoke dmt or changa. If anyone from the forum taken this medication I want to know the opinion. It seems to helpful to me.

I took Trazadone when I was younger and it always gave me very strange and vivid dreams. Most of them were quite scary. :shock:

Although I never took DMT while on it I may have some insight to your question. According to Antidepressant properties of trazodone - PubMed the half life of Trazadone is 1 hour and has an elimination half life of 10-12 hours. If you were to skip one nights dose I would think the following day you would see full effects in the DMT.
