We really need to acknowledge harmalas potent medicinal qualities

Yep, exactly

Even at the beggining when i first started taking rue, nausea and dizziness were always correlated with the time being too fast, never in my whole life did i get nausea or dizziness if the world wasnt too fast for me.
Do you also experience tracers when this happens? I don’t think I have ever experienced time dilation or compression on harmalas but I have actually felt out of sync with time on a combo on mescaline and weed and it was alarming.

Have you experienced this on other substances or only harmalas?

@harmala_afficianado you and I are opposites, in some ways, as I’ll do a light workout and feel sore for a week. While I’m personally interested in building strength, not even the most elite level of weight lifting truly impresses me. However, what does impress me is people skateboarding at an advanced level. With that said, I would genuinely love to see someone (maybe you?) get increasingly good at skateboarding while taking copious amounts of rue. I think it’s time for someone to raise the bar (no pun intended) and do a kickflip (on zero sleep) down a 12-stair set after taking 12g of rue… now that would be impressive!
Never tried skateboarding my whole life, BUT, i play soccer on rue, i was always a soccer player as a kid and i played for alot clubs, but rue takes it to the next level, i do insane tricks with the ball, juggling the ball more than 200 times, while walking fast, while staying completely still, holding the ball with my chest, neck, i even created my own skills no one has ever done before on very high amounts++i never get tired when i play matches, all the players in the field get tired before me.

all praise to god who gave us harmal.

Yes, the tracers are always always there, they are never diminished, while peaking on 12g my whole vision would be tracing and objects would be vibrating+the air will have this strange ripple effect i cant quit explain.

And no, it only happens with rue, but i remember taking mushrooms with rue would make this effect alot stronger sometimes, but it never happens with mushrooms alone.

Strange though, youve never felt time becoming faster on rue? Its always a part of the rue "high" for me.

That sounds pretty awesome. It seems like the combination of your particular neurochemistry/physiology, relationship with rue, and athletic abilities are synergizing to create powerful flow states.

I’ve gone snowboarding on a psychedelic dose of mushrooms a long time ago, and can attest that it didn’t seem to negatively impact my riding ability, which I had already established.

For me, rue is like taking a cold shower, or something, in that I can appreciate and enjoy its benefits/qualities, but don’t feel compelled to repeat very often.

To be honest, my main takeaway from this thread isn’t even about rue, but more like a reminder of the value of movement and flow, along with that of merging body and mind through one-pointed awareness.

I fully agree, but cold showers are good for you, no one likes to take cold showers, but if you do, you will never regret it, same goes for rue, even now after almost a full year of daily rue use, i dont "crave" rue in the sense of craving dopamine, i knew long ago that the feeling of "i dont feel like taking rue right now" is because there is an issue i have right now that i cant let go off, and i know rue will get rid of it, so i dont feel like taking it because im not willing to "let go", so after knowing that i said "f*** it" and decided to take rue every single day no matter how im feeling, like a very uncomfortable medicine you HAVE to take.

very relatable. I take cold showers and rue in almost equal measure. Frequency, not volume, mind :D
