Weed Side Effects Became Permament After Mixing With Harmala+Dmt

Dame Nature punishes those who dare commit blasphemy by vilifying its precious gift. That's no scientific explanation but this guy won't get an excuse from me, adults need to be responsible. Call me old fashion!

And please respect my "religion", if i may say so: which is to « follow the shortest path of LESSER transformation ». That means i have no sympathy for a systemic quest focussed on abuse, much less when the premise is a mental disorder while blaming cannabis for it permanent status...

🤕

Mushrooms are at fault, no it's weed or maybe 25g+ mimosa tea with harmalas...
It's so much easier than to take responsibility for oneself and try to see what's hidden inside.
Sometimes harsh truth is the best medicine.

I know a few psychedelic experts, who would never touch anything themselves.
They are quick to give advice to novices and pose as an authority on the subject.
Sadly plant medicines can amplify and solidify egos.
Many never come down after medicine use and build a bigger and stronger castle on fertile ground.

I’m guilty of wasting a lot of time trying to help these individuals. Some need no help, but like to play healing.
Especially if there are no real consequences for them. Very similar situation could be seen in a spiritual community.
One would rather get a PhD in buddhist studies, than attend a 10 days silent retreat.
So go figure what’s what.

My relationship with cannabis is complicated, but I’d never blame the plant.
It’s like blaming a knife for killing a man instead of preparing a meal.
Who's wielding the f#cking knife here?

🙏

That remotely reminds me of a statement once heard on TV5, the french-speaking int'l TV network. Here's the verbatim quote:

« Vous omettez peut-être un détail sur la drogue: c'est peut-être que les drogués cherchent avant tout l'état d'manque avant de chercher l'état d'satisfaction... »

And this is the Google translated version, for our convenience:

« You may be forgetting a detail about drugs: it may be that drug addicts seek above all the state of withdrawal before seeking the state of satisfaction », Yann Moix, ONPC, 2018-Feb-24

Actually i'm not implying that's the case here nor am i even thinking it involves any of us, but this is how memories work sometimes i guess. What i know is that his opinion felt shocking, especially coming from a type of individual representing an intellectual elite in Europe - but that's show-bizz TV after all! I don't recall how i reacted at the time but i do believe i'd just zap it today.

Now look what i found earlier this morning:

Microcosm 001 - The Four Types of Trichomes (2025-Jan-1)

Isn't this a much more pleasant & satisfying aspect of cannabis to consider?!!

Good day, have fun!! ☮️

Yeah bro I hope Dame Nature will give you enough grace to stop judging others without having no idea ı am nature itself. Please keep your redneck ideas to yourself

To each his own. Don't take all this stuff too personal.
Net interactions only go so far, and no one can truly know what you are going through.
I always try not to offend anyone here, but share my experience and perspective.
Take it if you find it useful or just let it be ☺️

Back in the days of ayahuasca forums, there were many accounts of people seeking help after a horrendous ordeal.
Many of them were mentally ill and just tried to solve it with more psychedelics and heavier doses. It never ends well this way.
Coming from this plus my own struggles, I'm always skeptical when people try to fix their state with more of anything.
Healing is not about a substance, but about your intent, respect and commitment.
Again, I don't know your particular situation, but please take it easy. You'll be glad you did in a long run.

Peace 🙏

Cannabis in combination with psychedelics could lead to very unpleasant outcomes, your case is not rare. It's quite common that people report such problems after introducing cannabis into psychedelic experience.
You probably need to "rewire" your brain. My advice here is to adopt a new hobby/sport which you'd need to learn and would consume some of your mental, emotional and physical energy.

I'm aware that cannabis use by folk with predispositions to conditions such as schizophrenia can lead to heightened psychotic effects, but am not so sure about the mixing of cannabis and psychedelics being dangerous in this way, other than for those with underlying conditions.
Sure, cannabis can amplify the effects of psychedelics, leading to people becoming overwhelmed or having a 'bad trip', but much of this could also be attributed to a lack of preparation and a proper intention and setting, and does not seem to lead to long term problems.
It seems pretty clear that Bertaraja made a fairly unwise decision in taking the combination they did, especially knowing the negative effect weed has on them already, but from the, albeit, brief bit of searching I have just done on the subject, it doesn't seem that cannabis taken with psychedelics causes long term psychotic problems like these, except in the case of preexisting conditions, or, at least, there is little but anecdotal evidence of this.

I heard or read too many stories similar to OP's to not warn people about the risk. I agree that percentage of people who experiences long term issues is very low, nonetheless if anybody knows that cannabis makes them paranoid/anxious/delusional etc, it's best to avoid it during psychedelic experience.
Lot of people use psychedelics as a tool for self-healing from some underlying psychological issues, so some preexisting conditions are often at play.

If I remember correctly THC has the tendency to induce paranoia because of its mechanism of action. So, even in non-predisposed people in a good setting, adding cannabis to a psychedelic trip is risky. It's not the same as psychosis but if the paranoid thinking mixes with psychedelic effects the experience is likely to come close

It's not at all uncommon for people to not at all enjoy cannabis with psychedelics. I absolutely love pot on a psychedelic comedown (and in general), but smoking at the peak has given me some tense and crappy trips until I learned not to be dumb. I have also seen it put a person into a full blown bad trip, hospital material.
That didn't do anything permanently, but if you've ever had a serious bad trip you'll know that the lingering effects last for some time. And yes, in certain individuals, it could last for a very long time.
Someone can have "underlying conditions" and be leading a normal life. Everyones brain is different and everyone has learned to use the brain they were dealt in a different way.

So a total newbie comes around whi complains about his vilification & abuse of a most precious gift from dame Nature, somehow supposed to heal him from « living in heaven » and now blaming it in a « therapy » forum dedicated to « trauma »... Signed "The King" in indonesian language, e.g. from a country where possession is punishable by 4 to 12 years of imprisonment!

Just in time for Christmass! Hummm... I see. 🤔

IMHO there should be restrictions put on fresh-new subscriptions, like a probation period to prevent instant gratification.

M'well. Strange decisions indeed, but don't expect me to fall for it even a micro-second!

🥱

Ref.:

What is the penalty for drug possession and trafficking in Indonesia?
« Like in many countries, Indonesia has Capital Punishments for Possession and Trafficking of illegal drugs.
Possession is punishable by 4 to 12 years of imprisonment. There is also IDR 800 million to 8 billion (US$89,600 to US$896,000) worth of fines. f the drugs exceed 1 kilogram (for raw drugs like marijuana) or 5 grams (for processed drugs like heroin and cocaine), a maximum punishment of life imprisonment may be imposed.
Trafficking is punishable by 5 to 15 years of imprisonment and fines of IDR one billion to ten billion (US$112,000 to US$1.2 million). If the volume of drugs exceeds 1 kilogram (for raw drugs) or 5 grams (for processed drugs), the death penalty may be imposed. »
I am confused reading this. Are you suggesting the OP made this up?…or that they are at fault for using psychedelics? Or just not fitting into the paradigm some hold of what kind of people should use psychedelics?

Last I checked, DMT is illegal almost everywhere.

I'd suggest cardio exerises like running or biking, sauna and maybe fasting.
Anything that makes you sweat a lot and lets your body clean itself out.
Drink enough water, take some B vitamins, walk in nature everyday.

Don't gaslight yourself too much in any direction. Nothing is permanent, that's for sure.
Your condition will change whether you want it or not. Be kind to yourself and your challenges.

Best wishes and good luck 🙏
Without running and cardio I can't live normal life

Im surprised at the amount of people who seem to like weed..after all the natural actives in the plant were put there by nature for self defence against preditors who might try to eat it..those chemicles werent intended to make you feel good...

I can tolorate weed while listening to some good music...but dont care for the uncomfortable body load the stronger types can cause...

I once remember smoking some... panama red...and how it made me feel like i was dieing... as i walked across a green athletic field on a sunny day...

But...i was also taking LSD a couple times a week...yellow microdot...window..payne ,...orange sunshine...grey owsley..

You might want to stop mixing rue actives with the plant..and just stop using pot for a while.... i dont think the symptoms are permanant...and should stop in time...
