What's your opinion on this short?

Going from vaclav smil instantly to this was quite something xD

There is beauty in everything if we are willing to see it. That one does not turn away from the universe is perhaps a first step to our enlightenment. :)

You should do some research into the girl on the left. It's hard not to see her as a shallow grifter and pandering. She likely doesn't grasp what she attempts to talk about. It kind of gives that vibe of "I use these words and ideas to justify my drug use" rather than "these experiences with these drugs have given me this kind of perspective," etc.

I know i sound harsh. I hate fake shit.

Even fake shit exists, and why is beyond all of us ✨

But sure I can look into her if you like

Sure. But that doesn't meant we have to enjoy it or ignore its hypocrisy/exploitation/etc either
Yeah let's not bypass what's problematic using ideals that reduce everything to a sort of sameness. Discernment is a necessary utility.

And you don't have to look into her. I have and find her suspect, like many talking heads, "artists," "gurus," and pundits in this space.

Wow, the new Milli Vanilli are much uglier and far less talented than the originals. Hollywood is a shit factory, stamping out all kinds of turds to hope the public buys them, shiny turds, sparkly turds, gold coated turds, but it is still all just SHIT. Social media just increases this shit factory exponentially.

I was looping this short on a 5-meo-dmt trip and it seemed to me it was a message from god. them being god and me also, receiving a message from "myself": "I'm just my vibration, life is for one thing to remember. I know I shine, I know I shine, In my divine, up in the sky like I'm flying"

they seem so happy and free. innocent and open minded.
The blond girl have a ton of haters but still she just continues her stuff with a big smile and makes big money from it. She's inspiring.

She's the top 1% of humanity in term of happiness, wealth and open mindedness.
It might sounds like a bunch of buzzwords, or like freedom and happiness.
It might not sound intellectual, but god is beyond the intellect.
It might look overly stereotypical, but really that's just being open minded to some style.

I wonder how exactly you came to this metric, not knowing her personally or knowing what's going on in her head. Just pulling numbers out of your behind, are you?

Look, you're free to enjoy whatever you want to enjoy during your psychedelic journeys. I personally would rather have a mule kick me in the groin than have to sit through her fake enlightenment slop while I'm tripping, but to each their own.

The fact that you felt her music was a message from god might be a hint that you should carefully re-evaluate some things about yourself. Again, if you vibe with her music then by all means keep listening to it. Just keep in mind that you're standing amidst a community with vast psychedelic and philosophical experience, whose members can quickly spot fakeness and inauthenticity, which Shanin Blake just reeks of.

You can play pseudospiritual ayahuasca bullshit bingo and win during this short video.

It's quite annoying, I call them "high vibrating hippies" in a very derogatory way.
We make a lot of fun of them in my circles and avoid them as much as possible.

I watched the house tour but i had to keep sound off.
If we set aside all the issues that have been mentioned, i definitely understand that living in such a house in the forest with all the pillows and such, carefree and smiling and making money just by doing that would be wonderful. And there's nothing wrong in wanting to have that happiness and freedom as an inspiration. I mean they're potential qualities you can see in yourself and she's like a movie character you take as an inspiration.
Without considering the real person who's posting those videos. Because honestly i don't know her and i guess that in the US this kind of over-the-top things is very common, not only with new age content. But it seems like every lifestyle or way of being is now seen as a consumer category to sell to.

And you also have to consider if such a lifestyle (i mean the house, the objects ans such) is really a way of living that an awakened person would have, considering the forest clearing to build the house, the psychedelic clothing and furniture that speaks of freedom and light but probably made in factories in poor countries, and so on. I mean we're all guilty of that but we can try to minimize the bad consequences of our lifestyle. And living a luxury life without helping others? I don't know because it's the first time i see her. Seems like living in a colorful bubble though.
I would keep myself to be inspired by the positive characteristics you would like to have as a person that you potentially see in her character, i mean feeling free to be oneself, being openminded, finding joy in simple things, and so on, even if the character turns out to be fictional you can still be inspired. In general it's even hard to find a person that continues to be inspirational when you find out who they are behind the scenes so that's okay. As long as you keep thinking for yourself and distance yourself from her if necessary

To me it's pretty cringe, but it's so extreme and over the top that it starts entering into genuinely (even if involuntarily) funny territory. So I enjoy it in the weird way cringe can be enjoyed. It's better not to overdo that, though.

Yo, crystals are real. You just need to put one in your butt:

I would be much happier in a cave by myself than in her house. Reality hits hard for such a naive mindset.
Somehow, Aubrey Marcus and his psychedelic cult comes to mind. It's all pure hedonism, imo.
