doing a stb would the ratio of xylene to bark/lye/water be the same as the ratio of naptha to lye/bark/water solution? or is it a totally different amount that you would want to use?

You can use more or less the same amount... You probably need to make less pulls.. Where with naphtha your 5th or 6th pull might still yield something (specially if you warm these last ones and/or leave for a day or two and mix occasionally), with xylene 3 pulls should be plenty.
