Why can’t I make a post other than in here ???

Need best STB methods on using completely fine powdered mimosa
It’s tough to deal with , currently using a glass 2000ml conical flask ,
150g sodium hydroxide and 120 grams of MHRB , seems as though emulsion is easily formed ,doesn’t get wet throughout , does using powdered bark require more patience??
Usual ratios would be different because it was non powdered but shredded with good results , it seems as though powdered you can run into different problems

I advise reading over Noman's TEK. If you're getting an emulsion, it's most likely that you aren't based enough for the water level. You haven't mentioned what solvent you are using either?
 
Doesn’t matter what solvent , I don’t need a full tutorial, as stated some technique would be great using POWDERED over SHREDDED.... all of my successful 1% yields in the past have been with shredded

In genral why is powdered more harder to deal with , specially in the mixing it to your base part ... I don’t really want to have to use more resources like water and Lye

If you are asking people for assistance, and they ask you to tell them a few more details, don't you think it would be at the very least polite to engage with their requests in a more positive manner?

For the record, my first ever extraction was with powdered bark and yielded nearly 2%. Emulsions were insignificant during the process. Maybe I was lucky? It was an STB with medium/heavy naphtha, freeze precipitated. Stirred, not shaken - perhaps that's a relevant factor?

And yes, patience is most definitely a virtue 😉

The powdered bark has a higher surface area; these fine particles can stick to a greater amount of solvent and interfere with the separation.

The only difference between powdered bark and shredded is surface area. There are no special TEK changes required. As said by downwardfromzero, and as I told you in my first reply, your water content must be enough to make your powder saturated and lye must also get PH to the necessary levels.
 
whats with the sensitivity, the actual fact is I should of structured my first question abit better , but the solvent is actually irrelevant here....

I didn’t ask for anything special either , maybe your first response came across as quite blunt actually... There was nothing arrogant about the reply

Thanks for the response Zero , that makes sense , the mixing process is what I wondered if people had certain evolved techniques in mixing (adding the powdered to the acidic water) just wondered if people had good mixing techniques that was all
 
Solvent in use does matter-- and for someone that can't seem to figure out how to do a proper extraction, you sure do seem to know everything you need to know.

It's clear why you are still locked in the welcome area-- you need to think about how you speak to people--
 
The solvent is irrelevant becuase the steps I’m referring to is before the solvent is even added

My previous past posts have actually been very helpful and informative , so your judgments are quite harsh.

I am from England and quite illiterate, so that should help lol - I do not mean to come across as anything I can assure you
 
Just use a spoon and carefully fill your container with the powdered bark.

You should consider freeze thawing some times before ab or STB. Check cybs max ion tek
 
My pet grasshopper is now stirring into the current , using its trusted Sarsons jars , either using less bark or more water has helped this jumped up little fellow ....

Blame SWIM , and SWIY I no longer listen to these teenage Swimshores and now everything is going Swimmingly and according to the divine law of Octop-insectoids plan which I for one know exists and seen the hierarchy of its angels.... SWIM however does not exist
