Would it ruin a glass pitcher using it to hold a caapi brew between boils?

My doppelganger is currently 1/2 way between his first 3 hour boil of caapi. He has two batches brewing (200g yellow and 200g fresh cielo). He has available a few glass pitchers that he could use to pour each of the 3 hour brews into (no more stainless steel pots left), but wasn't sure if the containers would be totally permeated with the caapi taste and not washable to use for Ice Tea etc in the future. He thinks they would be great for decanting any residue that slips through the cheese cloth, but doesn't want to ruin the containers. He thinks his wife probably wouldn't want that either :P.

He has some back up straight bowls that should have enough volume if need be.

I have mine sitting in drinking glasses sometimes. It's fine for the brew but your glass may get a hard to scrub sediment on the bottom. A bit of elbow grease and all's well.
