Would this work? [[ TEK variation Paraffin wax defat - Updated - It works ]]

Migrated topic.

I think this would work and It will be tried on some ACRB bark thats already been through this tek : LJM's ACRB Tek with pics [[ Updated ]] - Welcome discussion - Welcome to the DMT-Nexus which is a cold water tek, so, this is also to see if there is anything left in the bark and whether or not the cold tek was sufficient enough -
The 'left over' ACRB will be put through two, maybe three acid cooks
Then filtered with cotton balls [[ Always done, makes for less 'stuff' in the reduced volume ]]
Then what will change is this -
It will first be defatted with parafinn wax [[ Thoughts are that the acid cook will bring out more oils than Alks because of the previous cold tek pulling out alks already ..so, this is to reduce fats/oils and to try and keep it strictly to pulling whatevers left for DMT ]]
Then it will be reduced to a syrup
Then sodium carbonate added until a paste, maybe a pinch of lye to bring up ph ..maybe not [[ maybe it can be pulled at the sweet spot for dmt which is , what ph of 9-10 ? ]]
Let to dry, almost
Then crumbled, maybe, or if not quite dry maybe just chopped up and pulled on with hot heptane
... I think this will work .. what do you think? Let me know :)
Results will be shared soon.

The parrafin wax defatted it nicely ... the only way now to know for sure is to use the wax on a fresh batch of bark.
The spent bark appears to be yielding little oil or 'goo'.
The first pull was allowed to sit for ten minutes to drop out any oils then poured into a fresh clean jar and placed in freezer. Crystals now beginning to form.
I'll post them when they are finished.
I'm kinda anxious to see what the yield will be from reusing this bark and putting it through this test
If the yield is significant, then I may switch to hot water teks and defat with the paraffin wax to decrease oils and fats
When the wax solidified after cooling, it was a tan sort of color and did not form one lump but many tiny 'beads' which had to be filtered out while still cold.
The fact it did not form one solid clump tells me it binded with the bark oils/fats nicely
Good to know the cold water tek works but it does need tweaking ...
It really matters if the bark is chipped or powdered, when it comes to cold water
Hot water gets into chipped bark more readily and faster and cold water takes a long time, a couple days at least, to get it all out.
I don't think much fats or oils come out in a cold water tek, I think its the heat responsible for that to some degree ... BUT, nmt or 'goo' does come through the cold water so ...
I guess the next step will be to try a defat with the wax after cold water soaks just to see the difference, if there will be any
Pics of the results of this experiment soon to come

It worked.
Since the bark was pretty spent, not much came out even after three pulls but hey, it adds up and it was good to perform this experiment on it to see if it would work and it did
It appears to have pulled the yellow oil out as none was observed at any time after pulling

Do u still think using paraffin wax after the acid boil is a good idea? I've been thinking about tring it with some new acrb I got. Last time i had to recrystallize cuz of all the white goo.
