Hi All,

I am now celebrating exactly one year of daily excusions (barring a day or two here and there when I was away on business). The journey has been enlightening, to say the least. Each trip logged, catalogued, analyzed and in integration or integrated. Of course, I have over 30 years of logs to add to, but the last year has been....different. Incredible even.

Going in everyday is not like a one off or a 'once in a while' experience. With familiarity comes filtering, and conditions. Launch dynamics become crucial, confidence replaces fear, the map becomes visible, manifestation replaces movement, the whole body becomes the receiver, not just the mind, and the process, the structure of the experience becomes more...important? Maybe important is not the right word...More 'present' than the exhibits/environments presented.

I am wondering if there is anyone else here who is doing this now or has had similar experiences. I would like to discuss your travels, and in particular, how the spice has evolved for you over extended periods of time. Dosing, phenomenological effects, lessons etc. In particular, if your lessons have evolved, changed or updated along with your practice and confidence? Is the teacher still teaching you fractions, when you have moved on to trigonometry? Or have the lessons evolved in tandem to your development? In particular, I would like to have other points of view. Lived ones, not hypotheticals.

I do my sessions in the early morning, before the rest of the household wakes. Sometimes right after a shower, sometimes right in bed. This proximity to sleep, and hypnagogic states has also revealed some deeply interesting realities presented by ol' Deemzy. Anyone else ever wake up, grab the vape and go right in? (Ever done full entry at initial HeartRates lower than 60? It's effing weird, right?...Just sayin! swett jeebuz. Not doin' that again!!!)

Now, with practice, even at full doses, I keep my HR at or under 75 now. My favored entry HR is now 70-72. No lower, and prefereably no higher, It gives me the best results. It can spike to 80-85 during initial ''relocation'', and comes back down within 2-3 breaths. (I use HR tracking for each entry)

Anyway, throwing a line out to see if there any other daily drivers out there. If they are some anywhere, they will be here.

FYI I make my own, and am currently on the 5th extract of the year. This one yielded over 2gs from 100g of MHRB. I use a STB method and do not wash my crystals. I make my carts at 700mg plus about .3ml of PG only, I use ceramic CCel carts on an Uni 3.0 set to 4.2 volts. My 'training session' doses are usually 2 pulls of 8 or 9 seconds. so 2/3 breakthrough doses. This allows me to hover at the threshold, while still retaining enough agency to observe the entry dynamics. On the weekends, I try and incorporate what I have learned during my 'psychedelic gym' morning sessions into improving my entry dynamics on full run hits (usually around 25-30 secs total intake in 2 hits of 13-15 secs each.)

Voila, looking to see if anyone else out there is doing this.
Cheers all. Safe travels!

Hello friend – I am also a daily user although 75% of the time, I aim for a sub-breakthrough experience. Sometimes the DMT realm has a different plan for me! Happy to chat with you about it.
I have developed a 20 minute technique I call the “DMT check-in-20”, as it takes about 20 minutes total. I think sub 1breakthrough experiences are not discussed often enough or appreciated for what they can teach you about yourself and the inner workings and manifestations of your mind. To do this I generally will slowly draw on a 700ml cart (in 1g liquid), by slowly I mean maybe three or four 5 to 6 second hits.
Excited to chat

In the past yes but I will be honest it felt in retrospect maybe too often and impossible to integrate at that frequency. With less often 1-2 times a month I find the whole experience to be more beneficial and a deeper reset.

I don’t know why I did it so much in the past other than I thought I was going to get somewhere…but it’s the same place I’m always trying to get to when I take psychedelics no matter the frequency so I concluded more does not = more for myself.

My daily runs are usually sub breakthrough as well, but still higher threshold, or exhibut district, or what ever word one chooses. with the right dosing, I can 'fall into' a stabilized breakthrough regime if I stay still at the end of my exhale. It's like a window that opens until i decide to take the next inhale. So the pattern is one of : Dose, carrier wave, intial entry, approach upper threshold, coherence gate entry on exhale, return to upper threshold on inhale. My normal morinng runs last 8 minutes of higher regimes, then depending on the mornings sometimes I redose, sometimes not. My average is something like ''In at 0525, took 2X8 secs, redosed 6 secs at 0545, out at 0555'' This schedule give me between 30-35 entries per cart (I average between 700 and 750 seconds total puff time on a cart). I used to make less concentrated carts as well (more like 500mg) for moring sessions and seperate carts for breakthrough days. Now I make all 700mg, and use only the 1st and 2nd pulls from my extracts. later pulls (more orange and 'gunky') I put aside. I probably have a dozen grams lying around of stuff I just don't bother putting in a cart! Maybe a monster changa run one day.
One of the things that has been interesting in this endeavour is my awareness of the structure of the experience. Before, I would be enthralled by the visuals, the entities, the geometry. Now, that has changed, I have learned to control my attention, and where i choose to place it. I can ignore the distraction entities and chaotic visuals of the pre-breakthrough exhibit district. I can pass the coherence gate at entry without any physical or emotional fear, and I transition in a blink now. However, the content of the post breakthrough stable regimes has changed dramatically. The environment has gone from entity or narrative driven to one of somatic experience. I no longer feel the effects in the mind alone. I can 'zoom' in on specific feelings in different parts of the body and organs, something the novelty of 'every now and then' experiences seems to hide. I have had the chance to spend enough time in the pre-breakthrough stages of the trip, that I can now clearly dentify where I am in the experience, what the next stages are, and even affect the time it takes to transition between these states. I have noticed that I can seperate myself from the expereience itself and actually observe my 'self' having the experience. This has greatly reduced stress, anxiety and pre launch nerves. I would not say I am more brave, but more confident. Not in what I will see (we can't decide that...at least I can't yet), but in my ability to remain coherent when the whole univers deemz out of normality. I don't know what the weather will be, but I am now much more confident that I can weather the strom, should one show up.
I have had a few more ''difficult'' full breathrough outings this year, of course, but I have met them differently than when I was an occasional traveller. Before, the 'hyperslaps' (so called) were experienced as it they were happening TO ME. Now, with training, when it has happened, I was able to say 'oh look, this is something the wetware is experiencing righ now. Let's see what this is. Oh, difficult transtition? Maybe a bad entry dynamic? Ok, let's X that out.' and it stabilizes.
the 'Mental X' and what I call the 'inner smile' have been the biggest take away lessons so far. I wonder if you have encoutered these skills? So the mental X is somethign discovered I could to with intrusive throughts or persistent thought loops that stopped my forward movement in the space. I have seen that I can 'seperate' myself from the thought. I am not the thought,. I am the thing observing the observer of the thought. When I do that, a windows style 'X' can be 'clicked' and the thought eliminated. This technique has actually followed me into daily life, and has been very useful. As has the inner smile. I find that humor, a smile and a general lack of over-seriousness reallly helps the state transition from baseline reality to DMT space. that inner smile, which is a transition aid, has been a godsend in daily life as well. I can recall it when I feel stress, anger, frustration...I remember the inner smile, and I can go over it.
As for the right out of bed entries. Have you had any experience with hynagogic DMT (for lack of a better word). So, a few times, I have hit the vape right after waking, before exiting the bed. HR at upper 50s, or really low 60s. These are (at least for me, after so many years interogating the molecule) the strangest, most disorienting and just effing bizarre trips I have ever had. It's like you fall back asleep, and the deemz takes over the dream. As you all know, the DMT space is not at all like the dreamspace, not matter what any non-travellers may say. We all know it's not the same at all. Now, mix the 2. You are like in a dream, so no knowledge of how you got there, where you came from, or even of having taken deemz at all. You just 'wake up' in a dream space that is made up of the DMT world. But you are not aware you are in it. the level of confusion is insane. Any of this ever happen to you?
After a year, my feeling is this: There is no greater teacher of meditation than lower-dose DMT. Breathing, autonomic nervous repsonse, control of the vagus nerve, state conditioning, focus, attention. These are the tools I have been moved to work on. Not chasing visions, but understanding state, understanding conditions, and gates. Any of this ring a bell with you?
what are your takeaways?
and hey! thanks to answering and letting me know I,m not alone!!

Another thing that sticks out is this :''The molecule alone does not determine the experience.. The rate of entry also does.'' In other words, it,s not always about how much you take, it is as much about How you take it. The entry dynamics. How you meet it. We cannot decide what we see, only how we meet it. And entry dynamics, entry speed, resistance against structure, which 'you' is meeting the state are all as deeply involved in the session as the dose. these are things the fast moving and chaotic 'occasional' DMT sessions seem to be blind to. The entrance state training has changed that for me. The focus has moved from 'what did I see'' to ''How did I get there.'' Anyone else have this?

Hello mate , na your not alone on this epic quest 😊 but I am struggling getting my head round
doing it every day . Like you I'm not the occasionally traveler, but it appears we all have our own way of doing it.
The way I do it , doing it every day wouldn't work , infact my brain will break !!
The only time I do a sub Breakthrough is outside in the woods or garden , Other than that my experiences are late at night and all in balls in all .
In my experience the main event is what DMT is all about . And it can take me a week trying to process the pure incredablness of what just happened.

I try to average twice a month, sometimes I'll do two or three in a row then I leave it a few months.
But mostly I go with what feels right .
I don't use a cart , I use a desk vape ( volcano) loaded with 60+mg every time , .

Like you I've learned a few tricks on the way , one is breathwork is a superpower in that world . and most importantly it's all about where the mind is at , a slight negative energy will give in kind ,
As soon as your aware of this , your somewhere else .
so maybe that means we are in control, it's up to us where we go! !! 😁🥺. Asif

thanks for sahring, i make changa, and check in once haevily every five years or so, 15 min mediation in, 15 min trip (either, two or three hits), window box breath work, always sitting on the floor and i keep my spine straight and sit in a half lotus position, usually and then after 15 minutes i always meditate for another 15 minutes before standing up again, so while dosing its 45 minutes start to finish, breath work is huge here and i like my heart rate low, 70s ish and get there after about 10 minutes of small, slow breaths generally nostral only, in thru the nostral out thru the mouth,

candles are nice for the first session,
but if onw doses the next day they might be too bright, i start with three candles, then two, then, one, then none, then switch to water fallas like a cheap desktop. the sound provides the key aspect to let one know the session is over and all is well etc. same thing for music,

at first one wants the music medium level , but after a few sessions, youll want mostly just silence. this is all depending on if ur dosing during the day or night.

i prefer night, either outside by a creek with a water fall, favorite location was the lourve france, but indoors near a fire is fun or fire place, when smoling with a pipe make sure to practice setting the pipe down in the location its going to sit while ur sitting, else you might fall over and then burn urself on the pipe and dont use a water bong, youll just spill and break it.

the important part to remember while dosing is, much like sking, not to foget, that ur in the nexus.

hi Asif
my daily sessions are more focused on meditation, and just trying to nudge, or wiggle the consciousness, so I can better "see" it..my breakthrough sessions are all in, like you. they are 2 very different experiences, with different purposes. doing it daily is a kind of training regime for me. training for better and more stable breakthroughs and memories of those breakthroughs when I go there. also for the daily real life benefits it has presented such as mindfulness, centering, stress dissolution. too many to list.
I am not training the molecule. I am training the nervous system that must remain stable while the cosmos explodes in front of me in its deemzy glory.
I forgot to mention that my dailybsessions had made my breakthrough sessions orders if magnitude smoother, cleaner and much more stable, resulting in much greater memory retention afterwards. its done the same for my dreams. oddly. I remember them vividly and for days after if needed...

I do see where your coming from , I have at times randomly switch on a vape just to see how much residual is left, And after a good pull I've been pleasantly surprised to see the fabric of the realm peering back at me and giving up just a few forgotten memories.

Yes ! I just started a thread about the entry into the dmt world and how it affects the experience. I still have to ponder over it since I don't go everyday.
5 years ago I had a trip where an entitie, at the very beginning of the launch, entered my body and mind, then it adjusted my posture and told me, "you have to do it like this !". There was a mind posture component as well. It was something like "be as a king in your own kingdom". But it's only until now that I start to understand what it does mean. And I guess that it as to do with life itself in a general way, not only with DMT.
It's only since couple of month that I am able to enter it the smooth way. No Heart rate going crazy, it even feels that it slows down, as for the breath which becomes very very subtle.
The quality of the experience when I enter it like this is just... different and there is no transition in between normal state and Dmt state (like falling asleep, you don't notice it usually)
I'm still learning though, and I go slow for I take it only 2 or 3 times per months.
There as been few misfires though, and when I put it in perspective with that smooth entry, I understand why I misfired. There is an openness that need to be cultivated , and if you are opened before, then there is no transitioning. I mean, it does that for me. and it feels like that. But as I said, im still pondering over it.

There is so much insight crammed in here...I have come across people who have claimed daily use before, but this is the first time I have seen such insights arise from this frequency of use that has led me to see that it can indeed be done beneficially for the very rare individual, if one approaches it properly.

This subject alone deserves its own thread, book or research project.
Kudos for highlighting it and continuing to explore it.

The 5-MeO-DMT crowd may take issue with this, but you are surely equally right also.

Absolutely yes. In fact I would go even further and say not just entry dynamics but life dynamics and intent shift it significantly...DMT (+Harmalas) seem unique in interfacing with the mind in this way which can include the range from lockout to launching on minoscule amounts, that show these additional variables much beyond dosage alone.

OMG! I have had an almost identical experience. During one trip, several years ago, I had a ''Sit like this, breathe like this, and focus your gaze like this!'' experience. It affected every single entry process that has followed since. I now place myself according to an internal 'template' that I sort of memorized, somatically. It was not an entity encounter for me, however, it was a 'felt understanding' without a 'physical' (so called) form. Disembodied and just felt. The physical positioning also aligns the mental state that allows for smoother and cleaner entries. I amost 'know' before taking the hits if I am aligned or not. Sometimes, I have the presence of spirit to wait, and re-align., Sometimes, another part of me takes over, and I go anyway. The results under such entry conditions are varied. Not always as controled as when I take all the time I need to get aligned. Time of day also makes a huge difference for me. If I go in in the afternoon or evening, after a day of work, coffees, maybe a few beers and and joint or two, my entries are not as smooth. It's one of the reasons that early morning sessions have become so dear to me. Almost 90% of the aligning process is done before entry. It makes huge difference for me.
Your 'be as a king'' comment is very interesting indeed. It lines up well with my personal understanding of the space. Yes, it is ''MY'' space, but even as king, I cannot control the actions of each of my subjects within my kingdom. I can, however, try and control how I meet it/them. How do I interact with my domain? How do I meet it? Which 'me' am I presenting today, and why...
Thanks so much for your feedback!

Guilty as charged. Sometimes more than once in a day. Also avid about sub-breakthrough and low dose, but the space will take me when it wants me.

It does that! You go in thinking you'll have a mildly spicy taco, and then every now and then, you have your taste buds explode into existential confetti and reveal secrets of the cosmos. Odd how it does that. ''I did the same pull time ont the same cart last week! Why did my head explode this time?!'' Sometimes it just 'take you'. I try and stay grateful when it does. But it catches me off-guard sometimes. Happened last week!

5 years ago I had a trip where an entitie, at the very beginning of the launch, entered my body and mind, then it adjusted my posture and told me, "you have to do it like this !"
I have had an almost identical experience. During one trip, several years ago, I had a ''Sit like this, breathe like this, and focus your gaze like this!'' experience.

I had a similar experience on my very first oral brew voyage. Some entities adjusted my sitting posture and did a few breathing exercises through my body.
In my 2nd session, I decided to lie down and was met with a remark: "Do you plan to die just like that - in your bed and half-aware?"
I always sit straight in my works now.

That idea about the king is nice, but you need to be humble too, or it could backfire. In one session with acacia, I was telling myself on the come-up: "Some go for nice vacations, but I have my own inner spa right here." Long story short, it opened one of the biggest hellscapes of my life. I was holding on for my life, praying and singing mantras to make it through.

So, even a king has his duties and responsibilities. I just try to keep an open mind nowadays, without any strict framework.

🙏

Thanks so much for your comments. I actually have chapters, and chapters...a full book in fact of experience reports to share here, but since I use AI to aggregate my 36 years of newly scanned and digitized trip logs, and since the community here tends to make nasty comment about my use of AI, I do not share as much as I could. I was psyched to share all this stuff, now I am more...reserved. Writing like this takes time, and I work long days and have a family, so I can't always take the time to write out responses by hand.
But if you have any specific questions, fire away.
I also think 'hynagogic DMT'' (again for lack of a better word) deserves much more study. There is a whole world in there that is not like the normal Deemz space at all. I must be honest though, it scares the piss out of me. I am not exagerating when I say they are among the absolute strangest states of conciousness I have ever lived. And I've popped out of my body more than once. That's is easy compared to Dreemzing (just made that word up! I like it!)
I have never mixed harmalas with my spice. No yet. I have read many reports, and I have always been curious, but the thing is this: Time. One of the reasons I only do DMT in my older age (hehe) is time. Always time...In my youth, I could easily spend the whole week deep in LSD, MDMA' ridiclous amounts of mushrooms, etc. And in the morning, I was fine, ready for another round. That was then. Now, If I do a large schroom trip as I did last fall, it takes me 3 days to recover, And the kids don't care I am still not 100% ! hahah. Nope. Now, in my 50s, with work, family, kid's basketball practice, Dad's taxi service etc....All I can realistically afford to do, time wise, is deemz. Adding Harmalas negates the speedy aspect of Deemz that keeps me coming back! If I am lucky, and get a few days to mysell this summer, I would like to try. But I cannot easily see a possibility where I have a whole day or more to myself...I wish! ONe can dream!
Same with my journals. I simply do not have the time to transcribe, re-read, and re-write my years of records, journals, drawings, etc. So I scanned my logs from the past 36 years and used AI to parse the info. I have extracted so many nuggets of wisdom, it is ridiculousl That's why I invite you to ask me any specific questions you may have. I certainly have something in my archives to share on most subjects deemzy. I just stopped posting bacause of how it is received here.
I also have extensive experience with 5 MEO going back at least 10 years. Here is why it is not my daily driver. Yes, it has fantastic meditative qualities (sometimes more, deeper and better than NN) but the issue is relevance, and context. Let me explain. With 5MEO, there is very little left of ''me'' in there. it is not a state I can easily 'train' for, because, as I mentioned, ''I'' am not there for most of the experience. With NN, I retain a greater sense of agency, of ''Me-ness'' if that makes any sense. I tend to use this window of neuroplasticity for training. Training the actual DMT state reactions, transition training, breathing, focus, attention...(these are the DMT specific teachings I work on everyday) and then I also try and train myself for skills I can apply to daily life. I find it is very hard with 5MEO, compared to NN. With NN, I can enter with a purpose, and stay conherent enough to keep that purpose center of mind. I can 'guide' the content, not control it, guide it, gently. I am also getting very good at remembering almost every detail of my sessions now. Something I cannot do with 5MEO. Another important caveat is sourcing. I cannot make 5MEO on my own, so I have to buy it. I have a great online source, but it is still an expense each time. purchase, shipping, waiting,,,,you know.... [Mod Edit: No Buying/Sourcing talking please] With NN, I am sitting on several years worth of powder. I control everything. It costs almost nothing. And given I go through more than a cart a month, making my own is the only viable option. That being said,. 5MEO has presented me with life changing points of view about everythign including the ''me'' in there. But it's not as useful as a daily teacher for me as NN.
Voila, Thanks again for chiming in.. Really appreciated.

Excited to chat
what is your technique? What's your 20 min check in like?...I'll try your version for sure! Here is my breathwork template, with the observations I have made, Also, my psychedelic gym 'clipboard' / checklist as well as my re-entry/reconstruction map. I hope some of this may be useful to you!. All this info was extracted from my logs. All info has been lived, this is all 1st person knowledge.

Exactly ! Hehe ! The king idea is about duty ! And it's about the way you move, and the responsibility of yours, to yourself
It was a bit of shortcut to talk about the king idea ! But :
Once, I was a bit, I don't know, sad or something (this really talks about me and my life in general. And it has been really an important shift; in dmt realms and most of all in my day to day life, I used to be passive, even in my spiritual practices) and I was expecting, the dmt to take me in this love feelings and so on, you know what I'm talking about im sure haha)
And I vaped it to find myself prostrated, scared, vision of entities around, and all the crazy stuff, but cold, ooooh so coooold !! No love around to sooth my sadness. I was back straight, crossed legged on the bed, and I just crumbled against the wall. When my back touched it, for few seconds I felt like a little mouse, trapped in despair in front of a cat. Then something whispered : "You want love ? That bubble of space is yours, so don't wait for something to give it to you, just create it, and fill that bubble for everyone to rejoice when they are passing through"
As soon as the realization got heard, I started to dance on my bed, cause I got it, and I started to love, actively love, not passively waiting for love to find me, or for something/someone to fill the bubble with it. And there I was ! I was the entity giving love to all the spirits and other entities coming to visit that bubble of mine. All of them rejoicing in the dance I was doing, and bathing in the love I was sending. And my love was theirs, and their love was mine, infinite exchange, I gave the love, and I got it back; from me to me , from me to them, from them to me. From emptiness to emptiness. dancing and loving for the sake of it.
So you are you own king, that's what I meant. A king rules, and for sure, you can be a bad king. Not even knowing you are one. But here you only rule over yourself. You can destroy yourself or love yourself.

A king or queen as a dhakini or as a dhaka, empty in nature, like the clear blue sky, opened like infinite space, centered at the center of your own bubble being.
In emptiness there is no ruler but the counterpart : Emptiness/infinite and vibrant compassion filled with love.
And a king can't be a king without the people.
So be an empty king, where love can rise for the sake of everything and everyone.
Do it, without hesitation, without waiting, and without hope.

Just talking to myself here hahaha, ideas are so exchangeable. But in a way it really helps me in day to day practice and life. And it definitely does not feel that way in all of my dmt experiences, sometimes on the contrary XD

That trip was like 5 months ago, after one or two years of being locked out. From this one everything changed though (It was a turning point in my life though; but everything is connected in this story I tell myself I guess :D )

I really love how the "DMT" asked you if you wanna die that way, not aware, just lying there...
MAybe, even in our death, we need to.... actively die, in the same way I feel we need to actively love

I have more that I'll add to the conversation at a later time. I would like to briefly say thank you for beginning this thread and the conversation therein.

I have been a daily/regular user for many many years. I've struggled with my frequency over the majority of that time. So, it's been an almost torturous near decade. While I've been shedding this issue slowly on my own, this thread is also very helpful, particularly in reprogramming things that were fed to me long ago.

I sometimes carry shame around the ways in which the power of suggestion unwittingly affects me.

One love

!! 😁🥺. Asif
Have you had any issues with any condensation on your desk vape? I ask because I also have a yocan Ziva 2.0, and it has an 'auto' function' you activate it, and it jusy blows a continuous plume of vape out its hole. I have considered using it to fill a large bottle and then rip the whole bottle's worth of vapour from it. maybe even add a hole, or a 'carb' to it to get all the vapour in in a single go. For breaktrough doses of course. Not for daily training. If you say your rig is great, I'll buy one, I have tons and tons of freebase left that I judge not 'clean' enough for my carts. I would be into trying loading it in there. I have tried with vapour genie and others, so far best results with freebase have been the yocan Orbit, but it is hit and miss for me, and you are left with a hot physical item in your hand when your hand starts to forget its a hand at all. Even after all my years, I am open to learning, so if you are saying this volcano is the business, I'll get one.
