Any other daily travellers here?

since I use AI to aggregate my 36 years of newly scanned and digitized trip logs, and since the community here tends to make nasty comment about my use of AI, I do not share as much as I could
Why not open a separate thread for your AI logs and state your approach beforehand? I doubt that anyone would be against it, and you'll get responses from people who are actually interested in your way of doing things.

D.M.T. (Department Of Metaphysical Tourism) is golden 🥇😂
It was a bit of shortcut to talk about the king idea
All is well, and thanks for your clarification. Most likely, I just wanted to point out that the king idea is complex, but you've covered it all already.
I really love how the "DMT" asked you if you wanna die that way, hold aware, just lying there...
MAybe, even in our death, we need to.... actively die, same way I feel we need to actively love
We get guidance that is relevant for us. So, it's kind of meaningless to just apply others' insights without trying them for yourself.
You can like my shoes, but they could be a tight fit too. Yet, I see lots of common ideas people get around medicine use.

I could do that. Thanks for the idea! I am currently putting it together for a book. I am now editing the mistakes and formatting issues in the Kindle publishing proof copies I have received from amazon , should be done by summer's end. It's really nice to have one's own trip logs published and bound in your hand, with a cover, and illustrations, and the whole lot. Makes it feel 'official' somehow, Any subjects you would like to see covered to begin with? Any specific questions you have about my last 30 plus years, let me know. I have no secrets, and want to share as much as I can, I just don't like getting blasted online for my publishing/data analysis choices :)

thanks for sahring, i make changa, and check in once haevily every five years or so, 15 min mediation in, 15 min trip (either, two or three hits), window box breath work, always sitting on the floor and i keep my spine straight and sit in a half lotus position, usually and then after 15 minutes i always meditate for another 15 minutes before standing up again, so while dosing its 45 minutes start to finish, breath work is huge here and i like my heart rate low, 70s ish and get there after about 10 minutes of small, slow breaths generally nostral only, in thru the nostral out thru the mouth,

candles are nice for the first session,
but if onw doses the next day they might be too bright, i start with three candles, then two, then, one, then none, then switch to water fallas like a cheap desktop. the sound provides the key aspect to let one know the session is over and all is well etc. same thing for music,

at first one wants the music medium level , but after a few sessions, youll want mostly just silence. this is all depending on if ur dosing during the day or night.

i prefer night, either outside by a creek with a water fall, favorite location was the lourve france, but indoors near a fire is fun or fire place, when smoling with a pipe make sure to practice setting the pipe down in the location its going to sit while ur sitting, else you might fall over and then burn urself on the pipe and dont use a water bong, youll just spill and break it.

the important part to remember while dosing is, much like sking, not to foget, that ur in the nexus.
Hi, thanks back for your comment! Alone, I would not be comfortable with candles. There are times when you are so far gone on breakthough doses, I don't think I could release authority knowing there was a small fire in the room somewhere. Some part of me would remain vigilant, and attached to baseline. With a sitter, no worries. But I trip eyes closed pretty much 100% of the time. I really like having the sun on my closed eyes. It makes the visuals more golden, yellow, bright and earth toned, wherease eyes closed in darkness, I get more reds, purples, deep greens.
For music, I do both with and without. I have found that music is not decorative in the space, it is structural, architectural. So I choose wisely. Also, if there is music, I find it harder to tune to the carrier wave. That all encompassing hum, static, crinkle, OHM, energy wave (call it whatever you like) that precedes me exiting my body , that propels me into hyperspace. I use this carrier signal as my 'return to home' bearing, and I have found, with time, that I am more confortable going really deep when I can stay in contact with this energy signal/wave. When all else fails and I am lost beyond comprehension, I listen for the wave and follow it back to the coherence gate (what I call the threshold between the exhibit district and the stabilized breakthrough regimes) From the gate, I can attempt a new entry/stabilization event, but I use the carrier tone for that exploit. It blasts me out of my body, and also allows recombination with it. Also, I would never do a full doses alone outside. Trainig dose, ok. With a sitter maybe, like at my cottage. But it must be weird to deal with mosquitoes and such when your deemed out of your body, no? A high pitched mosquito buzzing fly-by is not distracting? Alone, I would not be confortable releasing all control in the forest, or in a park, or whatever. I find my mamalian survival instincts don't allow me that. I would be one foot in and one foot out. know what I mean?

I know most people in this thread are cannabis users before ever seeing them post about it, from recognizing the unmistakable cannabis use pattern in the way and frequency they talk about smoking DMT. I'm not saying that's a bad thing in itself necessarily but the character of cannabis use undoubtedly rewires the brain in affecting other areas and substances that are used.

The frequency and form of DMT use you all report is not so typical for DMT use usually, and more reminiscent to me of stoners. The sober state will always be the reference because its the baseline and most effective for a carrying out much of whats necessary for daily functioning and development.

this is a joke

In the past yes, mostly with oral harmalas as a base. It was great, especially in the right context, but lately I find other combinations of approaches/medicines much more useful, even if it's just a few times a month. Especially low dose LSD as a basecamp for DMT, as it does much of the heavy lifting and you need less DMT/it lasts longer.

Judging by the number of comments, it may be more 'typical' or widely practiced than one might think. I mean you did have to say 'you all' :) . Also, it may be that some people are one and done (maybe like you or most people), or once in a while (maybe this is more you?), whereas others feel called to return (doesn't seem to be you).
With weed, personally, I don't mix the 2. My buddy does, and he loves it. I prefer a clean entry. However, I don't judge him for it. Who am I to say his way is not good for him? Only the traveller can comment their voyage. And my way is certainly not yours. or his, or anyone elses. One thing i can say, is after a big trip, I loves me a big ol joint and a freezing cold beer to chill and journal. Not before. After. It's a tradition! Not my morning sessions, though; They get coffee and a trip to the can! :)

That silly post of mine was just a joke poking fun at some statements that have been made in the past about this topic, don't take it seriously ;)

My personal thoughts on the topic are similar to yours.

The day I feel comfortable taking DMT daily, even at low doses, it will mean that I have been able to increase my mindfulness considerably. Some times I've been able to keep it up (with low doses) for a few days in a row, but the part of me that doesn't want to be fully awake pushes me away from it. It's not dissimilar to my consistency issues with meditation.

Some people may use it for mindless fun. I'm not one to judge that either, whether positive or negative, the consequences will be theirs to bear.

To me, a low dose of DMT peels off a good chunk of my mental stories, attachments, and aversions. This is obviously positive, but I've learned I need to respect the parts of me that aren't yet ready. It's a process and I'm not in a hurry. Pushing too much can be like the Taoist story of pulling the peach tree blossoms to get the peach sooner, killing the flowers in the process.

In summary, I think frequent DMT can be very beneficial if approached in the right way, and as long as one's (or one's support network is) able to recognize any potential unbalanced states or lack or grounding.

My practice and life are quite different from yours, but I still appreciate hearing about your experience. I'm more into strong oral doses once a month.
I'd like to hear how you manage your practice and everyday life. I guess family and your highly structured (disciplined) approach help you to stay grounded.
How about a powerful, mind-shattering dose and coming back to this reality? What helped you the most to maintain everyday use?

You sound sane and coherent, so I guess you're doing it the right way for you. In my case, I agree with @blig-blug and would need a stable, mindful base first of all.
We're all so different and somehow the same. Apes are strange creatures, and our minds are infinitely fascinating.
