I work in IT for a big-ass trading company. As a result I meet with lots of people and spend time zoning out in boring meetings.

I was in a meeting yesterday where some dude tells me that he will be taking time out from work and will be going into Hyperspace.

I wanted to jump up and shout 'Way to gooooo' - but I don't think we're talking about the same place. You never know though.

It's funny hearing a balding accountant on the verge of retirement tell you in a meeting that he is planning on going into Hyperspace.

:)

I would have laughed like a 10 year old girl.

Still life with a Woodpecker?

oh man not to derail the thread but the story IS brilliant. My favorite work of fiction to date. Tom's just got such an awesome style. He was Terence McKenna's friend.

I love Robbins. Check this out...

A few years ago I read Villa Incognito. I was left unsatisfied by this. It is full of shamanic references etc. I read it long before I found DMT.

The day after my first spice trip, holes in the story of Villa Incognito fell into place, years after having read it.

I never understood the significance of why the main character had a chrysanthemum seed pressed into the roof of her mouth as a baby.

It was only after reading The Spirit Molecule that I learned that the Pineal gland starts off in the roof of the mouth and after my first spice trip, I encountered the chrysanthemum.

The pennies dropped, it was amazing.

Peace!

Leary did call it 'the businessmans buzz'.

Next time you go to that Thai restaurant, and the nice lady asks you "do you like it spicy?" you'll be like, FUCK yeah, everyone's in on this!! See you all inside!
