If you have a septic tank you're basically killing 2 birds with 1 stone when it comes to the lye. Otherwise just aim for the sewer. That's what they're there for.

Save it and drop it off at a local recycling center, if you have one nearby. They will dispose of the Naptha/solvent so it does not harm the environment more than necessary.
