"Day after" admixture activity without caapi?

Read that caapi medicine can remain working in the body for several days after drinking, with the added effect that new doses of admixture plants can be active simply on their own. Jungle legend, or reality?
 
what admixtures specificially? chaliponga for instance is already active on its own..so is brugmnsia, mapacho etc..all admixtures..did they say viridis specifically?
 
The article was talking about traditional ayahuasca, but unfortunately I cannot locate it now. However, it just referred to the fact that the MAOI can stay in the body for several days, especially if on has taken a large dose of aya or several doses over several days.... then for a day or two after that, the traditional DMT-containging admixtures chacruna and chaliponga can be active without any additional caapi or rue.

Cool, I was not aware that chaliponga could be active on its own, in general.
