I started my psychedelic journey in 2020 and extracted DMT from MHRB the first time in 2021. My educational background and day job are in exact sciences/technology. But on my spare time I started developing a keen interest into the mystical and the mythical even before experiencing strongly altered states of consciousness first-hand.
The past few years include many experiences with vaporized DMT, Ayahuasca, and Psiloc(yb)in. At the same time I've read many, many books, scholarly articles, and posts on various forums, as well as watched hundreds of hours of YT videos on the general subject of psychedelics, (altered states of) consciousness, shamanism, and related fields of inquiry.
Before I embarked on the actual journey - remaining as a wannabe psychonaut for some time - I thought that my "goal" was to understand more about the nature of consciousness and maybe the reality itself. This thought was formed after reading or listening to a number of DMT trip reports that sounded mindblowing. I still agree with that "goal", but would like to add the following phrase: facing directly the mystery that is human life.
I use GVG and am a fan of Terence
