Greetings, travelers.

GreenCube

Esteemed member
I started my psychedelic journey in 2020 and extracted DMT from MHRB the first time in 2021. My educational background and day job are in exact sciences/technology. But on my spare time I started developing a keen interest into the mystical and the mythical even before experiencing strongly altered states of consciousness first-hand.

The past few years include many experiences with vaporized DMT, Ayahuasca, and Psiloc(yb)in. At the same time I've read many, many books, scholarly articles, and posts on various forums, as well as watched hundreds of hours of YT videos on the general subject of psychedelics, (altered states of) consciousness, shamanism, and related fields of inquiry.

Before I embarked on the actual journey - remaining as a wannabe psychonaut for some time - I thought that my "goal" was to understand more about the nature of consciousness and maybe the reality itself. This thought was formed after reading or listening to a number of DMT trip reports that sounded mindblowing. I still agree with that "goal", but would like to add the following phrase: facing directly the mystery that is human life.

I use GVG and am a fan of Terence 👾.

Hi there @GreenCube , and welcome to the Nexus :D

You will find many of us here share you desire to know the Truth (capital T) about the mystery of life and death and the human condition. I personally am very fond of the term entheogen, as we often ingest psychoactives with the intention of understanding more about ourselves or our world and our relation to it in a way that goes deeper than our obvious physical interconnectedness with all things.

My own experimentation with psychedelics started off as a desire to have fun and beautiful sensory experiences and quickly evolved into something much more profound...Our forum has a spirituality and mysticism sub board you might enjoy.

Our chatroom is a great way to meet other Nexians and have conversation at a faster pace than on the forum board; drop by and say hello sometime! :)

Safe travels,
Sv
