kava kava preparation

Migrated topic.
1 egg white
3 tablespoons kava powder
12 oz vanilla almond milk
1/6 teaspoon coconut oil

whisked egg white into kava
whisked in coconut oil
added vanilla almond milk and whisked for a minute

poured into a sock and massaged into a small steel bowl
added 4 oz of liquid chai latte concentrate
whisked mixture
placed in freezer for 5 minutes

great flavor! prominent effects with only an oz or two slowly sipped over 10 minutes.
plenty in the freezer still, on the verge of a kava headache.

next time ill use 1 table spoon kava and 1/5 egg white

i think blending straining squeezing pulp and repeating pulls more lactones. plus the use of heat and cold temps pulls more of the full range of lactones.

1/2 tsp melted coconut oil
mixed into 2 table spoons kava powder

mix "dough" by pressing, rolling, etc

keep oil+kava in exclusive contact for 10 min (best if in a warm container/double boiler)

add coconut/almond vanilla milk (6 oz)

whisk for a few minutes

add TAZO chai latte concentrate (6 oz)

mix

strain through sock or cloth

top with a sprinkle of cinnamon
serve slightly warm

wow quite a recipe there puma lol I made a coconut oil extract thing once that I froze to solidify and make into chocolate but it wasn't nearly as active as a normal brew with the water. But I think massaging or atleast squeezing and repeating is essential to leaching out the lactones.

cylodextrin might help solubility issues?

My kava just came in. I didn't want to risk not being able to take the taste and ruining perfectly good kava, so I ordered the 300mg capsules. Got 60 of them for $10.00. Great deal IMO. Ate 3 of them yesterday (bottle said 2-3 at a time up to 4 times a day) and took a few bong rips, and I was feeling pretty awesome. Very light and giggley. Lasted about 4-5 hours. I plan on breaking some up and trying the powder itself in a milkshake just to see how it tastes.
