Have you tried cycles of basify -> filter (keep solid) -> acidify -> filter (keep liquid) ? It's not unlikely that the troches have been formulated to make this difficult, but it's worth a try.

i could absolutely try this! this might be a way better way.. cause id rather not burn through all my heptane extracting this

EDIT: honestly.. i could just put the troches in water.. then filter heavily.. since its already ketamine hcl.. once it's clear i can basify

If you've any idea of the other ingredients in the troches it would help for getting some ideas on how to optimise the initial extraction process.
