I ended up burning through the rest of the gram in a week, swallowing 10-15mg in the morning before work then bumping 30-45mg per night after, and went on an all-out binge over the weekend. NOTE: I will abuse anything that makes me feel remotely good; so I don't think this chemical is particularly addictive, I would have treated any new substance in the same manner.

Yeah this quote doesn't sound good, you seem to be saying it like a mantra or something... this is not a drug that forgives that kind of behaviour- unless you want to get sectioned, a lot of people consider themselves "wreckless" with their drug use, but reckless use with PCP analogues is like playing Russian roulette with less bullets.. that's not even a good analogy because there are worse things than dying. "I would have treated any new substance in the same manner" - that's not smart at all - I don't understand how you can have such an attitude whilst reading self help books. I'm surprised you thrown yourself into something so dangerous... that whole second paragraph sounds like a manic episode by the way... people need to realise that even if you're feeling really good, things can be going very badly in your brain and at those levels you can "snap" and wake up in an asylum.... I'm surprised as well that you're speaking of the quality of alcohol in the mix, did you ever do the drug without alcohol? because MXE is widely reported to have negative interactions with it, it tends to make people feel sick, also increases the chances of blackouts... I've read several TR's that don't enjoy it and most of the negative MXE reports involve getting drunk.

I wouldn't recommend using alcohol and MXE together... and for all the thread readers, again, daily usage/or finishing your bag all in one go is just foolish, we know what happens to people when they abuse these drugs.

Yes, I have used MXE without alcohol. No, I never got sick from mixing it with alcohol. Yes, my behavior was quite wreckless. I apologize for not illustrating the stupidity of my actions, so thank you for mentioning it. In hindsight I regret advocating it at all, I will edit and add a disclaimer to encourage people not to be mixing RCs with other substances. Also, I appreciate your concern regarding my addictive/wreckless behavior, some communities tend to advocate this type of behavior and it is refreshing to know the Nexus seems to not be one of them.

MXE + Alcohol = I survived, but others have reported bad reactions so this is not recommended

Also, I read of a fatal reaction from mixing MDAI and MXE a few months back, so this is probably an incredibly bad idea as well...

That episode actually sparked my renewed interest in self-help books, kind of a wakeup call to the chaos/lack of discipline/wrecklessness that I seem to be prone to. Luckily I survived, other individuals may experience different results...

Yeah, surviving is not the issue, permanent psychosis would be more my concern... and let's not forget about permanent damage to your body, that's also a possible outcome. My concern with your post was the use of words,it's like you were saying - I just get fucked up, that's just what I do.. almost masking the responsibility on yourself, not a good stance. that's never going to be encouraged on any forum I hope.

Original post edited. I agree with you completely, I began recalling the good feelings of the experience and made a post without considering the implications of my words.

I'm surprised noone has recommended any good music to enhance the experience. In my case, psychedelic music, which I usually listen to, sounds dull and flat, and instead, ambient has turned out to be a real hero.

A friend linked me those, turn on, lean back and let your mind float out in the ever expanding universe ^^

I enjoy on MXE what I would usually enjoy I think. I added some to the music that gets you through life thread.

I liked pretty lights - finally moving remix

Staind did a good cover on Alice in Chains Nutshell and I kept bouncing between the two artists

Sublime acoustic set is super enjoyable. Pink Floyd was nice. And it just came out, so not a chance to listen to intoxicated but...please listen to this, very nice chilling song Riding Coach

ehh, better than music sometimes, this cartoon is the awesome, Adventure Time The humor and adventuring is perfect for the mind state.

I love that show, in one episode a wizard frog named bufo shows them magic:lol:

Adventure time is a favorite of mine too :d
They actually mention DMT in an episode.

Last night, SWIM upped the dosage to 40mgs total, one week since last dosing. The dissociative effects had a strong character, and word salad became fairly pronounced during the peak. The whole journey started becoming slightly chaotic, not in any negative manner, but it seems like the value of the compound would decrease if taken any further.

For her, it looks like 25-35mg oral fits the sweet spot. No trouble sleeping after 5 hours, and woke up completely refreshed with the afterglow lasting well into the afternoon. Coming down from the peak, a lot of very helpful material regarding work was processed, along with where she sees herself moving towards over the next five or so years.

Again very useful, and touching on the best parts of ketamine for SWIM (the dissociative processing and objective look at her life from multiple perspectives). Coming up to the peak, she spent the time meditating, easily resting in the void state where no verbal thoughts appeared.

I have to totally agree to what you said there. After a few successful 25 mg trips I tried 50 mgs. Although not uncomfortable, I felt it annoying that the dissociation got so pronounced that I really couldn't get anything out of the trip. Eventually, I more or less just waited for it to end so I could go to bed :p

I also agree on this.

I'm kind of happy to say I've tried a few larger doses, as some things just have to be experienced. It just gets sooo exhausting and the more of this stuff that gets in you the harder it gets to concerntrate on anything.

MXE ego death is insane also. Time passes by sooo fast. I listened to a whole album after 100mg and I remember every note, so I definately didn't black out, but the whole thing just seemed to finish so quickly.

Is time always passing fast on methoxetamine?
On Ketamine I always find that time slows down.

Are you guys generally giving your body a rest every few days between doses? I found that doing it too much in too short a time produces short term tolerance where I don't feel the dissociative effects at all. All that remains is this weird head space which also feels kinda racy and speedy.

I want to use it sensibly for its theraputic potential but this week I suppose i have been taking it more than what I would have originally planned, just to see what it's all about really.
As of next week i don't really want to touch it more than once a week. I certainly don't want to fall into the trap of (ab)using it due to its escapist nature.

So you haven't constantly bumped by 5/10mg doses every four hrs or so during a session? For me, it's purely an evening thing right now. Although I am very concious of my usage escalating. I've had addiction problems in the past so I don't want this to be the next void filler. I want to use it sensibly so it can be of benefit to me. The afterglow is amazing.

Choosing the dose at the beginning does seem like the safest way to travel here.

SWIM tried it three times her first week, and thought she noticed some tolerance. Ever since, she's kept 3-days minimum between dosages, and lately a week, and no tolerance has developed.

Anyone experienced the shining yellow orb cev? i always see it at doses over 50mg when closing my eyes.

It´s there giving off a slight humming sound.
