circular bowls are kick ass. If you don't really care much about yield calculations and what not, you can just scrape it up from the bowl straight into a gelatin capsule, works like a charm
In the second photo there is something that might be of concern or at least to be paid attention to. There seems to be a dark brown area, is that in the crystals?
If it is, you may have pulled some of the lye (assuming that is what you used) in with your naphtha. It may also just be oils from the plant material.
How sure are you that you got a clean pull? I would consider doing a re-ex and maybe even a soda wash and then a re-ex if you are not sure. If you did get lye in there that is not good and will be very harsh and potentially can do damage.
Just a heads up... other than that, indeed you did it congrats
Also, should I put the collection plates back into my freezer without the naphtha in them, or should I just leave them in front of a fan until they dry?
That sort of depends, if you have a pretty cool ambient temp and you have drained off pretty much all the naphtha then you should be just fine with fan.
As for the brown/lye contamination that you definitely don't want to smoke as is. Usually if you do a very carefull pull and not pick up any of the base layer (mhrb/lye) then you really don't need to worry (I usually do a sodium carbonate wash just to make sure)
Since you DO have brown and you were not sure if you did or didn't pick up any of the base LAYER, I would go with the assumption that you did and would recommend a soda wash and recrystallization on that second batch. See WIKI/FAQ for those procedures if you are not familiar. But you can salvage that second pull no prob.
