traditional vs homebrew

Who here has experience with traditional south american ayahuasca sessions and also with self brewed ayahuasca?

What are the differences in effects? Do you feel anything missing in a home brew?

I was curious about this and im sure ill never make it down there myself,so maybe some of you have experienced both.

Really? Anybody? Is the ayahuasca experience and/or its healing effects any different with a shaman in a traditional setting? As opposed to brewing and drinking alone.

I just know the difference between capsules and liquid pharmahuasca.
