What causes a wave to collapse into matter?

Migrated topic.

Black hole theory didn't predict 'jets'. Columns of matter, trillions and trillions of tons of it shooting out at near light speed from the poles of whatever sits at the heart of galaxies. Jets do not exactly fit the notion of an all consuming super gravitational centre..

If you go by what you see then the images could even suggest the opposite of black holes, matter actually being created.
Please do not present this as if you have any understanding about black holes.

Do more research about blazars, accretion discs and relativistic jets. There are clear scientific models for those phenomenons (and have been for a long time).

You cling to the wrong idea that nothing escapes black holes while forgetting something can also get slingshot closely past black holes without actually getting sucked in and in that passing gain a lot of energy.

Here is an excellent video about black holes (among other):

And two more easy to understand video's to get a better idea about black holes and their shaping:

The story of the microtubuli is jaw dropping, iirc they suggest potential for them functioning as kind of interface instrumentation between quantum and classic 'realm' while potentially functioning at the same time as a sort of hard disks for heritage-ing data.

Luckily they found synergy in each other's work.

Penrose is a genius but this theory of microtubules and quantum consciousness is a bit controversial. Heres an article that discusses the topic from different angles. There are other good discussions on this but its quickest I could find:

Discovery of quantum vibrations in 'microtubules' corroborates theory of consciousness

Microtubule conciousness theory is pretty interesting. Penrose's collaborator (Stuart Hameroff) has talked about how anesthetics suppress microtubule quantum vibrations, while psychedelics may enhance them.

Below is a talk where he goes over these ideas/possibilities (his talk starts at ~46:50).

I wonder what some folks here think of the pi orbital discussion.

sometimes very smart people can skim over very basic thoughts.
if it was human observation that was causing the result then the same result would be given however we look at them. viewing the process using an instrument and looking at the result without the instrument in place is the same level of human observation.
humans are so narcissistic
