The worst thing about high dose MXE is the after effects. I feel really run down, souless and long after the farmiliar effects of the substance wear off, I have these really horrible laser-like visuals, as if there were sterile mechanical wires imprinted onto everything. The world turns very ugly and sleep is impossible.
 
Thought I'd mention BLACK PYRAMIDS that don't exist, and absolute nothingness and emptiness, and the worlds under the blanket, and the diz-E crackle junk that was never there.

40% good, 60% bad, of which 50% is nothingness, and the other 10 of the 60 is non-being. And not even non being, not even nothing, just.... not even nothing.

I had one hugely important experience with it, and i knew that was all I ever needed.

Also, it didn't like me smoking without knocking me sick. This all makes little sense. Mxe was very counter intuitive, and not in a good way, on the whole, so I knocked it on the head and ditched it. Got rid of like 600mg.

Same experience here - feel insanely depressed / bordering on suicidal after high doses. World appears to be very mechanical - everything loses its meaning.

I think the proper way to use this is once every couple of months, maybe, and only in low controlled doses and settings (20mg).

Definitely does not leave you with a very good feeling the next day, my circulation felt very strange and arm was numb (like someone pinched my funny bone nerve) for almost 6 hours the next day after 40mg.

I'm hiding mine away for a while, hopefully forget about it - maybe it will play an important role at another time, but for now it seems very counter-productive and mind numbing.
 
hmm..well I wish there was some source of natural dissociatives that hits the NMDA without all these side effects. MXE sounds like it has the potential to be a very unhealthy habit..maybe piri piri..it sucks becasue they interest me, yet all these side effects dont interest me at all.
 
For me it was fine in the 20-30mg dose range.

NO bad side effects.

Even with 70mg I didn't have anything other than tiredness from the long duration. I'm talking about 100mh+ experiences when I talk about nasty after effects.
 
Frac, Piri piri yield to unconsistent result.
In fact one good experience but I redosed many times with harmalas...
Now I'm not even sure what caused the effects...
Otherwise, you might want to look into iboga or voacanga, the only thing is they bind to many receptor at the same time.
 
hi long time lurker here, wanted to post my experience for mxe and ask for some advice

i took around 40mg of this stuff and it was amazing. Just laid in bed for a couple hours listening to music. My whole body felt warm and good, and i was having really cool CEVs. It was also the 1st time I experienced ego death, i just got totally immersed in the hallucinations. I felt completely at peace with myself and with everything.. it was just so great.

Now that it's over I feel like I really want to do it again, and again, and again.. but I know I shouldn't obviously. Would it be ok for me, in terms of long term health, to take this substance once every week?

Also all this talk of taking 100+mg is making me curious as well. I had a really nice experience with 40mg, what difference can I expect if I take 100+ mg?
 
^I dont think anyone here can tell you if it is "safe" to use mxe once a week. MXE is a brand new research chemical and very little seems to be known about it's possible long term effects etc..becasue of this I wouldnt ever take it weekly, it's just a gamble I would not be willing to take becasue my health is worth more than what I think I would get out of it. I am not opposed to frequent drug use by any means, for I certainly take alot of these things on a very regular basis far more frequent than weekly..but rc's and some other things known to have negative side effects are where I draw the line. Do what you feel but just remember that mxe is not the same as DMT, LSD or mescaline etc which have a much longer track record of safe use behind them.
 
^ And i might even add this: if you're ready to play lab rat cobaye for a bunch of unknown creators, manufacturers, distributors, and put your health and life on the line (cos' accidents there has been, and there will be) on the assumption that even if the chemical is hopefully safe, none of those unknown people have made a mistake anywhere in the many different steps of the process, well it might just be time to take a deep look inside and ask yourself a couple fundamental questions about why you are engaging in such potentially destructive behaviour.

I only speak this way because i've been there myself...

SWIM took 35mg of MXE with five 00 caps of the 4x caapi extract discussed in this thread. It was the deepest she has gone with MXE and completely amazing. Has anyone tried aya with other dissociatives?
 
The afterglow has been about the same, but the sense of dissociation has continued through to the afternoon. Not to the point where she's significantly hindered, but she stubbed her toe earlier and did not feel it really at all.
 
50mg is too much for a first dose.

That's getting into weird side effects territory. This substance is definately most effective at around 20mg and I think that's the best place to start.

It's also best consumed orally on a relatively empty stomach.
 
I think I would rather try the nasal route, and I'm taking it down to 30mgs. I have slight natural tolerance to most psychedelicish drugs so I usually start a tad high.

Seriously it's not like 30 or even 50's going to mess you up, but I highly recommend the subtle side of this substance first. After you have a larger dose the subtle effects on future smaller dosings aren't as good IME, so I highly recommend treading the subtle path first just to enjoy a more varied relationship with the substance.

It's not like 20's really weak either. I can feel this stuff at 5mg and have gone all the way up to 150. Higher doses are a bit like masturbating in the dark.
 
I definitely agree with soulfood on this. SWIM didn't want to go with 35 actually, as it gives her nausea to go much over 20mgs, and she doesn't feel any benefits from it. And the deep experience she described didn't come from the dose difference in MXE, as she's gone up to 60mgs, without enhancing the aspects she finds valuable in this substance. The lower dose range, 30mg and below really hits this spot with this.

Regarding the nasal route, even if you don't want to do oral, sublingual is more effective with this substance than insuffulation. Good luck.
